I’m really a solo player, and in retail I’ve always had personal guilds. But the thought of getting 9 signatures just turns me off from that in Classic. So, should I join an actual guild and do stuff with them? I’m an altaholic who will be creating tons of characters. It might be nice for a change though. What do you think. On Old Blanchy BTW.

As a fellow altoholic who usually only has family members in their guilds, go ahead and create one.
I was worried about the signatures as well. I hate asking people for anything. It all went very simple though. I asked in general, I told people they could leave, and people happily signed it.
Classic feels way different, no one asked for gold/silver/copper which was good, because I didn’t have much of it. They signed it for me, and when I got the guild I was wished ‘good luck’ and most of them left.
I have too many alts to stick them all in someone else’s guild. Although I might make a character to join a different guild and be social with.
Just run around spamming signature requests and the /beg emote in starter areas. Worked for me.
Yes..Classic is all about making friends..In classic my friends list was maxed out and I couldn’t add anyone else..Having friends to run dungeons, group quests, pvp , or whatever is very nice..
Join a guild.
Currently leveling 10 toons followed by another 8 of opposite faction on other account.
Preferring to stay guildless till i get into endgame raiding guild as some guilds create a fuss when you leave. They spam invites on trade, whisper or direct invites and somehow think those who accept become their property.
Had a really bad experience with that back in wotlk. Thence i stay guildless until i am sure of one.
It definitely makes finding a dungeon run as a dps easier.

Up to you. My first main, back in Vanilla, was a Warrior. I speced Arms and soloed until about lvl 50. This isn’t to say I didn’t work with people and make friends I had recurring adventures with. So a guild isn’t “required”. Still, I do have some awesome memories of the guild runs we did, and all the foolishness in guild chat.
Remember too. If you pick a guild and it isn’t working for you quit and solo for a while, or look for another one.
Lol. I did get the signatures and gave everyone 5s to sign. I get the guild in retail so I have storage I can share. OMG No Guild Bank in Classic, so what is the point of a personal guild anyway. No guild leveling or experience either. I paid 45s for nothing. Oh well. That stuff will all come later. I hope.
