Should I dump Engineering?

Mage here. For many years I’ve had both Tailoring and Engineering. Tailoring to make cloth armor for myself and Engineering for QoL issues. I mainly use Engineering for Nitro Boosts and Loot-A-Rang. I haven’t even made my cloth goggles for TWW.

I have tons of gear I’m getting which I can’t use (and I could disenchant) which makes me wonder about dumping Engineering for Enchanting. I obviously know Enchanting goes well with Tailoring - I just wanted some input from others here before I dump Engineering for it. Also, if I dump Engineering, will I have to re-learn Jeeves, Reaves, Blingtron 7k, etc if I get it back later?

There are some books to re-learn the recipes you receive trough quests. Jeeves being a recipe you had to farm, you are out of luck. Why not look trough your stable for an alt to learn chanting on and send it your finds to DE?

Sometimes it’s tempting to dump ENG but because of that, farming for nitro and flex weave and other stuff, I have to keep it even if most of the stuff in TWW is generally useless. (As usual lol.). There are some exceptions.
