Hi guys, so I did the Siren’s Campaign on my DK a while ago and got the ring with 3 sockets in it. Will this be a bis item in season 2 as well? I’m going to main my warrior this season and not sure if I should go through the hustle of that entire Isle of Siren’s thing again. Thanks.
For most of the season yes. Even with the “nerf” it recently got. That ring slot should be the last item you replace with a 665 ring or higher. If you happen to be extremely lucky and the first thing you get is two rings over 665, than sure go for it. But when it comes to Vault rewards for example, you shouldn’t prioritize it over other pieces. That is the value of the Isle Ring.
Good news is that it only takes about 15-20 mins to get the ring and the upgrades to 658 even if that character has never stepped on the isle.
The ring is still solid for a good while yet. Plus it takes very little time to get it fully upgraded on alts once you’ve already done so on your main, as the upgrade items will also drop from rares.
Its worth it
As the theorycrafter wizards have decreed, its actually bis for multiple specs this entire patch atm
Time to power it gives is one of the best.
I wouldn’t call getting a replacement for the slot least in need of replacing from the start lucky.
It’s going to last you into at least mid season and for some specs its BIS for the entire patch.
All in all even in the weakest form it’s a super charged heroic ilvl ring so get it.
Once you get the ring is it still worth doing the weeklies in Sirens Isle? Do they reward S2 crests? Or is it useless to do in S2?
We’ll know tuesday
It depends. If you are using it for stat boosts, then just treat it as you would any other item. If you are using it for damage boosts, well, then its a different story. Overall though, go for the item level.
Hopefully they phase siren isles, otherwise killing bosses for ring parts would be impossible.
I have found that the khaz algar world quests give better rewards now , if you can slog through them.
That Old Salt’s healing gem pumps, definitely use that.
