I’m not important to the wow world, and will probably be a more casual player, but should I come back?
no
I wouldn’t unless you have friends to play with.
Those battle pets don’t catch themselves!
That depends do you want to grind monotonous outdated content to unlock BiS essences? If not, I wouldn’t bother until Shadowlands.
Naa. This expansion is probably the worst state WoW has been in since the crashing at vanilla launch. Even WoD was better than this.
Nobody can decide what you should do… If you like WoW, then yes?
idk man
Don’t know. Are u into S&M?
The visions, assaults and island expedition (easier for loot) are good casual content.
edit: and the Alpaca and Drone mounts too.
I wouldn’t unless the goal is to go through the raid and maybe the horrific visions. Those are the main staples of this patch.
Why would he (or even you for that matter) need or care about BiS essences?
This isn’t the place to ask.
Depends what you want to do. Could always just try it for a month and see how it feels.
Not really. Coalescing visions rain from the sky so there is no need to grind. Get your weekly vessel and do your vision.
I feel no need to hard grind rep cos essence from the Rajani is not a must for Mistweaver. So I spend most of my in game time doing average keys n casual PvP.
Ok I’ll revise, how about any DECENT essences?
Any essence that is half decent has either a crazy time gate or a crazy grind. A vast majority of which is in old content.
This is why you should come back if your evil: In the new raids add’s will cast a blue circle on you that will knock you and anyone in that circle directly backwards 10 feet. Note: You will be fighting on bridges you can fall to your death off of.
This alone should provide hours of “evil” entertainment.
You will be very far behind to catch up in either PvE or PvP, due to essences and corruption, needing a couple weeks/months to be on par, depending on whether you play mostly solo or in groups.
Unless your objective is farming gold, preparing a new main (and even this is debatable, since we’ll get leveling changes), old content or pet battles, I’d steer clear of the game for now.
I didn’t say there was a need to grind. I said if he wants to go through them. I was speaking for the sake of cosmetic hunting, and the enjoyment of the raid. M+ has remained the same, PvP is abysmal right now, and received no changes with the patch.
I’m going to go with no. You should not come back yet.
Their requirments have been lowered, rank 1 or even 2 is plenty for the content he (or you and I) appears to do, and it is not old content to him. He may even (gasp!) enjoy doing mechagon and Nazjatar.
And if he does, more power to him, but it’s fair to know what a dumpster fire BFA has been to get back into. As someone who came back around 8.2.5 after not playing since 8.0 first month, I can relate with the absolute daunting task of catch up.
