Then he’s no friend to you. No friend would wish the Shadowlands PvP experience upon one of their friends.
My advice: take a seat in the TBC Classic waiting room with the rest of us.
Sure the PvP there isn’t balanced either, but at least it was fun and interesting, unlike the current Shadowlands meta of competitive 1shot cheesing.

While I agree SL 1 shotting is not fun, and the RNG gib / cheese is bad, I think you’re approaching TBC with some serious rose tinted goggles.
It’s going to be:
- Warriors / rdruids / sl/sl warlocks / rogues / mages dominating
- Double healer warrior teams with stunherald
- RMP with different DRs on CC than what we’re used to
- Mana drain teams
Granted, if you play one of those classes - you’ll probably have a good time.

Nah. I never said it was perfect or balanced, in fact I said the opposite. But it’s night and day better than SL.

They also seem to be making this worse for whatever reason. They somehow made ret war even more obnoxious… like why are they even touching either of those specs in a remotely positive way. Warriors do not need even more build / lego options lmao. kills me!
this isn’t exclusive to sl, in fact the expansion most players agree was the best from an arena perspective (mop) had just as much 1 shot cheese
difference was class design was far superior in mop so classes were actually fun to play and had enough depth that you could outplay players worse than you. also gear disparity wasnt as big
