holy poop 750 for current consoles?
i remember losing my mind at a 400 dollar sega saturn
The PS5 comes with the PS5 collection, 20 free games plus a free period of PS+ which gives an additional couple of games per month. Depends how many of the games the OP wants to play are included in the free goodies.
20 free games is cool
I bought a PS2 when Virtua Fighter 4 came out, and I bought a PSP because a friend hounded me to play Dissidia Final Fantasy (which I despised, though I admittedly did enjoy some of the RPG remakes on the system as well as UGnG and Jeanne DāArc). I wonāt buy another Sony console nor would I have bought the PS2 had VF4 came out on GameCube (or original X-Box, though I hadnāt bought one of those yet). Iām still bitter than the PSX did so well, and SEGA screwed up so badly so many times that I still have an irrational hatred of Sony even though they did everything right. Mind you, the PS2 is one of my top-5 favorite consoles of all time, yet that doesnāt mean I can quench my fanatical SEGA worshiping and rationalize their downfall with their absolutely atrocious business and market decisions: instead, Iāll continue to blame Sony forever.
On the other hand, from what Iāve played on a friendās, the PS5 is pretty nice. Because I do most of my gaming on PC anymore (or on retro systems), the only console Iāve bought since the XBOne launch VCR is a Switch when the Virtua Racing port came out (I had a Wii-U since Mario Kart 8 came out, so I didnāt feel the need for BotW etc) and only a couple of titles since then, so take my console recommendation opinions with grain of salt (well, maybe Iām saltier than a salt mine on some opinions for holding an irrational grudge for, whatā¦28 years?)
dude, wasnāt virtua fight a sega thing?
I got one at msrp from a local target after hunting for a few weeks. I enjoy it, prior to that I had an Xbox 360 so it had been a long time since id upgraded my console. I play cod and Elden ring, the new god of war looks awesome too.
yes itās definitely worth the money.
I was really into getting one when they first came out, but you couldnāt find one under 800.00 for a long time, and that was from Ebay.
Been what, 2 years since launch and we STILL have never gotten them in the store where I work.
I refuse to buy it now on the principal of it, if you canāt have it on the shelves and ready to go from day 1 , then you arenāt ready to release it.
i would buy a sega saturn
Only if youāre buying overpriced resales. Just gotta work to catch one at retail. Took me less than 2 weeks.
I would buy a PS5 if it had BC al the way to the PSX.
The dream is to have the ultimate PS machine, so weāll see what it looks like after the homebrew crowd cracks it open.
i would still go xbox one x
Itās worth getting a PS4 for Bloodborne alone.
Itās worth getting a PS5 for Bloodborne with faster load times alone.
A hunter must hunt beastsā¦leave the hunting of the huntersā¦to me
Should you buy a ps5? Yes
Can you buy a ps5? No
Iāve been on the wait list for a couple months now. Scalpers have taken everything and are trying to sell them for a 100% mark up. Iām not paying 800 dollars for a ps5
Nah, by the time you buy and get
setup, PS6 will be here
Walmarts sell them now, they tend to get them Wednesday, Thursday or even sometimes Friday nights. But yes, scalpers are an issue. We have a wife/husband duo where one will come the morning we release them and her husband will show up that night. Itās gotten so bad that they are only allowed one console a week now. Alot of people want one but they go from walmart to walmart buying up everything they can.
They are more readily available now so find a walmart or call one up and get one towards the end of the week if you want one. I have the digital version, got it for itās price of $400 and I really enjoy it. However I find myself playing WoW more and it sits there now. Doesnāt help I donāt play games like CoD, Fortnite or any pvp oriented game.
If it is what you want then go for it o/
I have 2 so yes. Really the only PC gaming I do is wow. The rest was PS4 and now PS5. Well I should say Atari, then Nintendo, then all the Playstations.
Remember the good ole days when a console would release and you could buy one. Perhaps 400$ is too cheap and thatās why scalpers make profit. Perhaps if Sony had sold them for 600-700$, they would still have inventory
