Should I be leveling my alt lock or farming gold in prep for tbc
What’s some cheeky easy gold making? I have UBRS key, do I just sell that? Do people even run ubrs anymore

Gold in tbc comes 3x faster. You waste your time farming it now knowing it’ll devalue by 66% through inflation

Alts if you’re actually going to play them, enjoy them and use them for something. Gold if you’re not. There are still plenty of good gold farms with herbs and ore that you can do. If gathering won’t work for you then look at your AH and find something people are buying that you can farm.

I would try and get at least 7k gold going into TBC. Lets you get epic flying on your main with 1k to spare.
My 2 alts are waiting at lvl 35 for pre patch. I can max their proofs in the meantime and then enjoy cheaper mount, lots newly added quests, higher xp.
Going in with an even 6k is fine too, since you will get about 1k from just leveling to 70. This is my game plan anyway
I hope you aren’t serious haha, I don’t even have my epic mount…
How do I even grind 7k, I’m flat out grinding 500g.
I’m extremely undergeared so I can’t join gdkp runs, and by the time I do get geared tbc will be out.
I’m a leather worker so the only thing worth skinning is onyxia

I’ve got 3 60s, ready to tackle BC. Well, two of them don’t have their “fast” ground mounts, but that doesn’t really matter, when flying mounts are more important than the ground mounts, in BC. I’m not tripping. Those same two don’t even have maxed professions, except for one has one/two maxed. I don’t think I’ll finish her BSing by the time BC comes out, though. Thorium Veins be elusive

Warrior as well so you don’t really have a good farm. Most of the people that have that kind of gold play a Mage (Alt) and sell runs or just AoE farm. Best thing I can tell you is go to WoWhead and look up what mobs drop and just kill them and sell grey items. In one hour I made 10 gold just killing mobs and selling/skinning stuff from them. It’s not a lot but if you did that every day for a week that would be 70g.
My god these questions . . . . . What do you want to do with your game time? What sounds fun to you? What would engage YOU before TBC comes out. This is a sandbox that lets you, and us, do pretty much what we want - set our own goals, find like minded friends. After all these years do you really need to seek this kind of advice?

Gold 100% Use gold to level alts. Alts are easy to level on pre-patch anyway.
