Should Dungeons Queues Revert Back to Character Level Ranges to Eliminate All the Complaining?

i feel like that would only make queues longer. so, no imo.

So, you want Blizzard to scale up every piece of old content to level 80 then so you can’t do old world content solo, right? Because that is what you are really asking for. Blizzard isn’t going to undo level scaling, it is in the game for good and it makes sense given the amount of content available otherwise leveling would become a slog. So the only thing that makes sense in your concern about the 95% of content being old stuff is that you want all of it to scale to level 80 so it can’t be solo’d.

Many of the ques would be dead, no.

No one is talking about end game. This is about scaling in Timewalking dungeons and similar in DF leveling dungeons.

Yes, scaling matters in that content.

Sorry, but your corner of the game isn’t the only one people play in.

We’re already scaled in content that scales from 1-80 and from 1-70. I fail to comprehend your point here.

The problem is that the scaling for lowbies is whacked out like Remix right now.

That can be fixed. It’s been fixed before without causing issues for other level ranges.

No. Scaling doesn’t matter. Again, at all.

Oh it isn’t? What other non-max level stuff do people do outside of the once a month TW events once they hit level 80 where scaling matters?

Then that is a failure to read the comments I am replying to and that is a you issue.

Again, your corner of content isn’t the only content.

Level alts. Which is what the scaling issue is about. Shocking, I know.

I replied to you. No one else. And the context of your post.

And what is the actual issue? Please explain.

No, you replied to a comment I made to someone else. Learning to read for context is a good skill to acquire. You should try it.

I already explained it. Please read.

But it isn’t “whacked out” by any measure. Like at all. So I will ask again, what is the real issue? Scaling is exactly the same right now as it has been since Shadowlands. When Chromie Time was introduced. TW dungeons use the same scaling as Chromie Time Dungeons. That isn’t an issue.

It is.

Wrong.

This tells me you don’t even run the content to know what you’re talking about, so I’m not even responding to ignorance further.

No, we don’t need 7 queues for the event stuff and 6 per chromie time

Again with the lack of reading… you are really really bad at it. Please get better.

  • Timewalking dungeons will now scale enemies to your current level as opposed to scaling you to the level of the dungeon.
    • Developer’s note: Timewalking now uses the same scaling system as Chromie Time, allowing us to better maintain Timewalking dungeons and control their intended tuning.

Directly from your link!

Let me once again copy the important part, so maybe you will read it:

  • Developer’s note: Timewalking now uses the same scaling system as Chromie Time, allowing us to better maintain Timewalking dungeons and control their intended tuning.

What is Chromie Time?

Chromie Time is a new feature added with the Shadowlands Pre-Patch that allows players to level from 10 to 50 in any zone they desire from Vanilla to Battle for Azeroth.

Activating Chromie Time changes the player to a different phase from players outside of it, which causes all quests and objectives from Vanilla through Battle for Azeroth to scale up to level 50.

Now… what is it that I said… Let me find that quote…

Weird… seems I said exactly what they did.

Nah, it’s funny watching people with fragile egos lament about being out-dps’ed by a low level character inside of decades-old irrelevant steamroll content.

Yeah, I’m not sure how that seemed like a good idea. lol

LOL his/her smug posts and quotes are going downhill in this thread faster then OPs false concern for content he admits doesn’t mean much to him - these so called regulars on this forum are so full of self importance, its refreshing to see someone take them on at their own game.

Oh look… another troll to put on ignore.

I’m up to 32 level 80s. I yet to have any issue with not getting XP because there was a level 11 speed running the dungeon. I got fast XP and completion and quick leveling so why would I care/complain

I love it the way it is. If dungeon queues were too long I wouldn’t do them anymore, and I wouldn’t been playing right now. All I do is timewalking to level and even my DPS queues are like 5-8 min max

I don’t understand anything anymore. “Scaling is relevant to leveling!” Yeah, they changed it to make it faster because people didn’t want to spend (figurative) years trying to catch up… I don’t think I have ever had an issue when leveling any of my alts with scaling. It is 100% about being out DPS’d and that is it. People don’t realize when there is a leveling event like radiant echoes that twinks were doing the same thing, you just didn’t see it because you weren’t grouped with them and it didn’t bother them. Like I said – this scaling has been around for almost 5 years now. People are only complaining because TW isn’t a once a month thing they can just ignore.

Since there is scaling in all sub current expansion dungeons, it was reasonable to assume that you wanted this in all dungeons. Reread your title. Where does it say anything about timewalking being your only concern? It appeared you want to introduce separate level brackets in all leveling dungeons, of which timewalking is one.
