So long as PvP is separated from PvE they can be toned down without hurting them in the PvE side of things. Personally I think they’re fine in PvE. So what if they top meters? That’s the problem with the game. Too many classes have been stricken down for the sake of PvP. Death Knight and Bear tanking is nowhere near what it once was. Some DPS classes are mere flashes in the pan compared to their original design. Nerfing one to balance the other while both share the exact same stats and abilities is a losing strategy. You just piss people off and ruin classes for long periods of time.
I do not think they need tuned down, if you having trouble killing them look up strategy rather than calling for nerfs.

Well, since there aren’t many demons to hunt I think you’d have to tone it down a bit. Don’t let hunting demons define your life, you know? Maybe just, I dunno, pursue the occasional demon. Do some demon geocaching. Write a book. Fall in love. There’s a whole world out there and you don’t have to be a prisoner to a bygone expansion.

All calling for class nerfing the only reason this is done is the supposed op wants balance but not for anyone other than his or her proffered class so that class can dominate.
They need to be buffed and shamans need to be nerfed, well just because.

I would prefer you not nerf me I am vengeance I have a 6x button rotation, and while I can tank an entire room of mobs I don’t do crazy amounts of dps.
I mean when you calling for nerfs did you even play the class you want nerfed?

I don’t think blizzard agrees with the idea that easier classes should do less damage. They want different levels of class difficulty for different levels of fulfillment. Some ppl can play dh, top meters, and still not have fun pressing buttons on cd.

Sees DH is supposedly easiest class in game and needs to be nerfed, looks at Frost mage and BM Hunter, seems legit.

We’re upper middle of the pack in raid single target.
Good in AoE/Mythic+
We have a solid utility in the form of Darkness, and Chaos Nova
Overall, it’s not too much. It’s just easier to maximize your potential on a DH than it is on other classes. And then some other classes are just as easy. It also doesn’t help that our easiest builds are our best builds.

Dude almost every mage spec is “mash filler spell and wait for procs”, after enough time every class is easy.
Im not saying demon hunters are the most complex class in the world. It just isnt the only low effort class out there.
Heck i started playing frost dk and its just as low effort with similar or higher numbers at times.

I used to main a frost mage, myself.

Anyone remember when arcane mage was meta and did like triple all the damage of other specs esp with trinkets that made spells cost no mana and essentially a one button main rotation with evocation and arcane missiles on the side? It’s not like there’s literally only one damage spec. It needs to be good or competitive with every other classes 2-3 dps specs or else all dh players would either be stuck tanking. It’s pretty fluid with high mobility too. Let dancing out of the fire and mechanics be mechanics, not playing a phone game during a car crash.

Just remove leech and replace it with something that’s not so insanely OP for healing so we would actually have to think in a fight, I mean having the exact same rotation no matter the content or amount of mobs is lame but when we can just do it and heal to full that’s the part that is most broken from the outside looking in. Maybe change up the animations too I’m sick of spinning in a circle like a ballerina.
Yes every class should have3 buttons that do everything for you! The fluid!
