Should Blizzcon Mounts/Pets Be Put on the Trading Post Or Be a Twitch Drop?

Trying to figure out where the community would draw the line, if any line is drawn at all.

Let’s say Blizzard put up Big Blizzard Bear on the Trading Post, or put the Zergling pet up as a Twitch drop.

Would these be acceptable?

Personally, I’m all for it, but I wonder if there is a line hidden somewhere that puts things like Blizzcon stuff or CE stuff off-limits.

personally i think they should go on the trading post. twitch drops are a complete waste of my time, i have less than zero interest in streamers and no matter how many twitch drops they make, it’s never going to generate any interest for me. the trading post could use some good rewards, especially the monthly ones

Sure. They have already done it with a few things

Sure. /10charz

Why would they?

They’re Blizzcon mounts

I’ve never been to blizzcon either digitally nor physically IDK how to feel about this. My vote is for trading post due to the fact that those items are seen less and less as the OG players quit and its a shame to have them disappear in the void due to being unattainable.

sure. they’re just mounts and battle pets

Trading post. I dont mind sharing my blizzard bear with others. We can make a happy little circle and watch the murloc’s flag wave!

Yup that would be fine. Not everyone can afford to go to blizzcon, and if they are going to be skipping blizzcons here and there why not.

FREE THE BLIZZCON MOUNTS AND PUT THEM ON THE TRADING POST! :tada: :confetti_ball:

I have some of those mounts from Blizzcon and it wouldn’t bother me if someone else was able to receive them via the Trading Post or other methods.

More options for other people doesn’t impact my life negatively, so do whatever.

Blizzard wouldnt do it because they really want to incentivize people to go to Blizzcon.

They don’t care about incentivizing people to play a dead card game.

I really, really hope not. I was actually just commenting how important those kinds of rare items are.

I mean, if Blizzard wants to maybe do a charity auction or something, where the top donor gets something crazy like retired items, I think that would maybe be acceptable. But it would really be a slap in the face to their most loyal fans to just bring back those sorts of items that were clearly communicated to be limited way back when.

I would like them on the trading post. Probably because I don’t know what a twitch drop is.

As someone who has the Blizzcon 2017 and 2023 mounts I wouldn’t mind if they came to Trading Post, since if these mounts come then they would also release the ones I don’t have, everyone wins.

Likewise with the CE mounts/pets, I have the Cataclysm CE pet and wouldn’t mind if they put it in the shop, but they also sell the WotLK one, something I would like is if we could get the ‘‘Illusion: Wraithchill’’ again, currently you can buy everything in the shop except this illusion for some reason.

All  of  them

Murky, that is all

I kind of agree with this one …Deathy 2010 ftw!

All promotional gear should remain unique & unobtainable.

Recolours & reskins are acceptable.
