With how bad the faction balance is and the horde factions are pretty much abunch of rogue factions would it make the alliance more apealing to play?like dwarves and gnomes vs humand and elves ect.
Kind of like an alliance civil war would that kind of shake up be more apealing to players.its just the alliance has been the szme for so long.
I think an alliance civil war would be a cool idea.

Would just be another thing for players to complain about.

ANYTHING that would be creative and not the same as the last 2 expansions. I think there’s room for some fun here no?

I don’t particularly think the Alliance is in a population position to be splitting up its playerbase. Statistically speaking, we still outnumber them, and while their storylines are lackluster and their characters uninteresting, that’s a narrative problem and solutions that split the playerbase aren’t really ideal for it.

Agreed if any faction needs to be broken up is the Horde.
I think the Horde has it worst imo.

I’m still holding my breath that Jaina goes too far for Aduin and is arrested for war crimes. Her daddy issues are pushing her to extremes and I think she would be an interesting character to turn evil.
Thats what im saying a civil war of sorts would make new villans and heros instead of the alliance being the szme it has been for 14 years.
See, I called it. people already complaining and it was just a fun hypothetical.
The horde pretty much are a bunch of rogue factions.thats why they are cool to play.
There are plenty of other ways to create new lore characters. Lady Ashvane was a good start – but the game needs more long-term traitors.
Cordana Felsong was an example of good story potential realized. It’s a pity that she was relegated to being a dungeon boss easily slain.

I don’t see humans and night elves, if anything worgen and night elves, more likely Velen’s people and humans.
Not broken up but get rid of the high king crap. There was a lot of dislike for the high king stuff for the Alliance as it just felt like they were trying to mirror the Horde and the Warchief. So much so that people dubbed it as the Blue Warchief.

I could see both factions falling into civil war. Might actually make for a cool expansion.
The Alliance is united. The same can not be said about the Horde though.

If they got rid of the high king a civil war would happen any way.
Well there was a sort of break between the night elves and the humans. Not a full schism per se, but Tyranda (spelling?) was pretty angry when Anduin wouldn’t shift focus to Darkshore.

Yes and only the worgen stood with us. Even Greymane gave us support.

I’d agree with this, too. It makes sense for Genn to swear fealty to Varian and Anduin – he’s a human king, and that social structure of vassals and lords makes sense to him.
The Night Elves, though? Haven’t had royalty since Azshara. They’re technically a theocracy at this point. And the Draenei? Their government was traditionally a democratic triumvirate. The Dwarves too are a triumvirate, although monarchs hold those seats rather than individuals chosen by their people.
I can’t even begin to talk about how Gnome politics work – politics in general seems to bore them. Mekkatorque seems to be in charge because he’s most suited to it, not because he’s actually interested in command.
By contrast, every race in the Horde stems from either a monarchy or a hereditary tribal chieftainship.

They aren’t too consistent for my taste.
One minute they are all about honor and glory and the next they are murdering people.
Then there is the whole thing with lack of any compelling characters.
They are either mopping (Baine) , are annoying (Nathanos), incomprehensible (Sylvanas) or simply background characters (Lorthe-who?).
The only thing the Horde has going for it is gameplay stuff.
I cannot at all take their story seriously.

Thats the problem the alliance is boring and uninteresting to play and the horde are a cut throat band of scum that would turn on each other in a second.this is what makes the horde cool to play.
