Absolutely.
Slogging through pathfinder when it is current content =/= retroactively slogging through non-current content to gain flying in areas you will rarely be in.
It is FAR easier (and more convenient) to get pathfinder in the content you are actively playing. A lot of the requirements are passive and happen naturally just playing the game. Going back into old content and actively working on previous expansion pathfinders is not passive at all, it requires active grinding above and beyond anything you’ll experience in a current expansion pathfinder.
