I just feel like asking someone to unlock previous expansions seems extremely cruel. It’s previous content that should be trivialized honestly.

This I can get behind. I think the current Pathfinder achievement should auto-unlock the previous expansions’ Pathfinder achievements.

As helpful as it would be, Pathfinder was made so you experience those zones in their entirety as far as I understand, so it wouldn’t be done I think.

Pathfinder was created when the dev team got caught in a lie and had to find a way to add flying back into WoD. It was NOT created to experience content at first.
It is now used as a time gate mechanism to extend the game and give a boost to playtime when flying is given back. You don’t need more than a month to run around on the ground to get your experience.

I can see having people go back and get reps to unlock old allied races, but requiring it just to fly in those zones that you don’t spend any time in anymore is a bit much.

Flying should be hit level 60, buy flying, good to go for that toon forevermore.
Buy fast or fastest flying if ya want it extra.
Cost 425 gold to fly, then more for the faster speed just like it has always been.
Just make flying just like ground mounts,
This helps any new players, and while it sort of wastes all the earlier effort to fly so many old players (including myself) have put in, it removes the problem bliz created by using flying as a carrot on a stick, appearing petty and vindictive because the bean counters made them give it back after 5million unsubs in wod, and all the rest.
Bliz made flying a problem and by making it a non problem this way it is just another mount / mode of getting around the world.
If they like pathfinder, what will the ground only folk say when they have to do a pathfinder to ride ground mounts or even run instead of rp walk.
Just take the whole issue off the table and within a year no one but a very small minority of schadenfreude complaints would remain.

Yeah. Stop making things easier for the people that didn’t wanna do it before, or weren’t there. You cheapen our effort. Only way i would get behind this is if they are forever unable to get the mounts awarded from those efforts, including class mount from legion pathfinder
Honestly, I think it’s important for other players to experience first-hand just how much this pathfinder system sucks.
If Blizzard unlocks flight at max level in 9.0 then I’ll fully get behind unlocking flight for all previous pathfinder-gated expansions.

Yeah, and if your doing this on a 120, it’d be ridiculously easy. Other than having to wait for the dailies to reset.
I could see this being a thing. Flying in these two expansions make leveling alts super easy (especially WoD with treasure gathering).
