- Rallying Cry is probably the weakest cooldown in the game—please buff it or add secondary utility.
- Execute needs a damage buff and better synergy with the spec. Slaughtering Strikes definitely needs to be looked at in regards to execute synergy.
- Sudden Death procs should feel rewarding for Slayer, with bonuses tied to them instead of the streaky and frustrating Marked for Execution.
- The capstone section of our spec tree is horrendous. Most talents are skipped because they’re weak or unengaging.
- Unhinged is the standout capstone but needs cleave functionality (e.g., 2-4 additional targets) to shine in small target scenarios.
- Class tree throughput tax limits choice, especially the Thunderclap requirement for Mountain Thane.
- Give Warriors Bloodlust/Heroism. It’s thematic, helps with group invites, and fits the warrior fantasy (Pretty sure Saurfang even used it in the BFA cinematic!).
- The Season 2 tier set bonus feels uninspired and forgettable, with Raging Blow gaining yet another effect it doesn’t need.

That’s a good suggestion; it seems we have the same idea.
Very much this, fury should be something along the lines of Rampage > Execute > Bloodthirst > Raging Blow in terms of damage dealt per cast.
It needs less importance on it’s filler raging blow, and more importance on it’s other attacks.
This talent isn’t so bad as Crushing Force and Reinforced plates being mandatory and taking 2 points to invest into each. These need to move to 1 point talents each to allow for actual build diversity. Wouldn’t mind Thunderclap going baseline though for all specs to open up an extra point, but it’s hardly the priority point to open up all spec builds.
Regarding this topic i’ll just copy over a reply I had on the matter from earlier in the week.
I wouldn’t exactly mind us getting access to Bloodlust since it would help in getting into groups that aren’t synergistic for warriors, but in all honesty with groups centred around a warrior it wouldn’t really matter when it comes to building a M+ group.
With the change of Windfury Totem going from Enhancement only to any shaman you’re generally always going to want to group up with any variation of shaman in an ideal comp yourself if you were building a M+ group as Arms or Prot as they both get major benefits from this buff being present, fury not so much but still gains a benefit from the flat mastery increase.
Then there’s the whole who wants a Warrior in the group, STR/AGI which only has one ranged option given most M+ groups will tend to always stick to having at least 1 range dps in the party so there’s a good chance you’ll have a hunter in the group which also brings bloodlust.
there are definitely better things they could provide to us for utility, opening up our talent tree by changing the previously mentioned crushing force and reinforced plates for starters, and then giving us a few new tools such as an enrage steal, like mages have a spell steal, why can’t we out rage their enrage? Show them REAL rage to calm them down, much like how you would respond to a toddler having a tantrum with a stern tone. Could also open the door to warriors providing a damage debuff cooldown via demoralising shout going spec wide.
Tier set sucks for all specs, gonna be a lame tier if they dont make any changes to the silly winning streak nonsense for melee.

I don’t understand why they don’t just let this ability scale better outside of raids. Other abilities do.

Loved the format and the original msg. Good job brother
I love going multiple builds with zero patch notes, and limited changes for years now. Meanwhile other classes are getting their 4th rework in two expansions.
Please. Communicate.
Going back to this - seeing all the updates to Winning Streak it seems obvious this idea is here to stay now. The Fury bonus, like many other aspects of the spec, could use an update to feel more involved.
I’m not expert but changes to other classes seem at least a little interesting - where our bonus is completely ignorable. The 2 piece is fine - maybe needs to be tuned up a little but the 4pc desperately needs some excitement injected into it.

Warrior is good at one thing, burst aoe.
Execute is trash. Execute should be gigabuffed to the moon
- Bloodthirst & Bloodbath buffed by +20%
- Raging Blow & Crushing Blow buffed by +20%
- Rampage buffed by +20%
- Odyn’s Fury buffed by +15%
These are good changes, for Thane you could argue they are great changes. Two big concerns.
-
Odyn’s Fury - With the many, many nerfs the ability received because of season 1 raid design and the loss of Titan’s Torment I’m not really convinced 15% is enough. So while Dancing Blades can be left dead - let’s throw a number buff on Titanic Rage. Not only to justify spending the talent point but give players the choice to lean into a more powerful Odyn Fury if they want to.
-
Execute - poor, poor execute. This is really only a problem for Slayer I guess as Mountain Thane can happily leave execute as its lowest priority button. But Slayer has now been forced to take Sudden Death. And honestly? The spec can be a lot of fun and play well focusing on execute talents at the expense of Raging Blow talents - but the numbers do not in any way justify that. I really hope this is planned to be addressed, because I love Slayer and that it in theory could prioritize different buttons from Mountain Thane.

yeah but with the Titan’s change this is nerfed
The buffs announcement was some practical joke, not a funny one at all.
I’m glad to see the buffs make back into the latest build. My previous feedback still feels extremely relevant for both Execute and Odyn Fury.
On Execute I also want to reiterate again that the changes forcing Slayer to take Sudden Death really needs help to make Sudden Death feel like a worthwhile and exciting proc for Slayer.
Leave it in the garbage for Mountain Thane I don’t care, but something needs to be done for Slayer.
