Short and Sweet Fury Feedback

  1. Rallying Cry is probably the weakest cooldown in the game - please buff it
  2. We offer essentially nothing to our groups besides damage - and we’re not great at that either
  3. Our class tree is still heavy on throughput options - limiting a lot of choice
  4. Class tree talent tax to pick up Thunderclap feels way to punishing
  5. The capstone section of our spec tree is incredibly bad with many talents being skipped to spend points in earlier parts of the spec tree
  6. Execute needs to be more worth pressing (even slayer doesn’t care unless it can consume Marks for Execution)
  7. The CC recast changes in M+ make Shockwave almost meaningless to have given to us
  8. I do appreciate the balance of choices between many of our talents and hero specs at the moment, but for the love of god please make us do more damage. We have absolutely nothing we are good at besides adds that spawn exactly every 45 seconds and die very quickly.

Agree. For a 3 minute cooldown for 10% is laughable.

This is just a fact. Did you want it to change or just… ?

I mean, pain and gain is not the biggest loss in the world. I only pick it up with Slayer to get Shockwave anyway.

Rather vague since the intent of a talent tree is to make decisions like this.

Agree. Execute seems to go through phases of being good, then getting nerfed to the point of marginal usefulness and filler, then buffed again because it is dumb to have an ability named “execute” that is a wet noodle.

Shockwave is one of those QOL things I’ve liked because it it competed with very beneficial talents. Now it is difficult to skip for the same reason. :dracthyr_shrug:

Probably should have left out point 2 for this.

Blizzard doesn’t seem to have a good concept of what they want dps warriors to actually do right now. The most generous description of what is being done I’d give is “flailing.” Throwing nerfs at a class that underperforms except under the most beneficial circumstances is strange and reeks of a development team without a plan or direction.

Even as a fact, it’s an important one. I suppose if I had to prefer something I would keep our utility low and our damage high. Which is also the only way that equation can be ok.

Sure, but I would argue only within the segments of the tree. I don’t think there is a single other spec that exists that doesn’t spend all 10 points in the final section of the spec tree. Do they make choices there? Absolutely. Do they spend those points in the other parts of the tree? I’m pretty sure they don’t.

Warrior has the most mandatory throughput nodes in their class tree. Why do the weapon specialization and dual weild specialization nodes even exist?

Hope you don’t mind, shared this thread with Skyhold. A pretty sensible post.

Why did they make Rallying Cry so awful? It needs to give at least 5-10% more, and I feel like it should give 5% leech or something as well to at least make it interesting.

Because it was actually working as a raid cooldown. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

It would really benefit from a “stronger in small group content”, like arena and dungeons. It’s just so weak outside of raids.

Skyhold is just dooming and archi pretending everything is fine. That discord fell off hard.

It was a part of an effort to make Healers feel more impactful and nerfing defensive group cooldowns as a whole (Ancestral Guidance, Darkness, etc.) . But than they went and gave Darkness a bigger benefit in group content and Mage’s Mass Barrier.
