Shipping & Handling Bug

My quest log supplementary quest (at the top) is stuck at “Time to Clean: Suds to Janitor” - Arrived at Incontinental Hotel, Job Streak 6/10.

Like other threads have indicated there are issues with job completion, which has happened already to me, however, the quest seems to have reset and Ive been sent to the next job.

I have seen the Next Reward for Shipping and Handling come and go (for the chests) but there isnt any way for me to participate. I also have a green arrow indicating I go to the Hotel, but when I arrive in the area indicated on my map and by this arrow. There is nothing there.

Googling revealed that this is so new, noone has really discussed it or had issues with this quest.

There doesn’t seem to be any way to reset this and despite having finished 6 jobs. I have reset the Weekly quest that is associated with this yet I still I have 0/10 completed for that associated Renown Quest.

Shipping & Handling “Delivered” Mission - Not Completing

As the title suggests, whenever I receive the Shipping & Handling mission to deliver a package, nothing happens when I enter the circle the area directs me to. Job Streak, Shipping and Handling, Green arrow?

What in the world is going on with this? It seems to be directing you around to do little mini quests, you do them, get to 10/10 job streak, then it resets to 0/10. Sometimes you get a little parking circle to move it forward, sometimes you don’t, sometimes you pass a parking circle that doesn’t effect anything, sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s a “job” and what’s a world quest, sometimes you get the quest objective in the Objectives list, sometimes you have to roll over the mini map to tell …

Few things that makes this very non-intuitive…

• You reset / start doing quests with a vehicle ability. That’s just not intuitive use of the vehicle bar.
• You stop the quest / green arrow by right clicking off an aura from your aura’s.
• There appears to be no purpose for the 10 quest countdown.
• There appears to be no purpose for any of this outside of meta quest completion and the surge pricing event, yet it’s accessible at all times.

Think you might need to right click out of the mode and then restart it with the vehicle bar ability.

I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION TO THIS! First what you need to do, is look up the objective on wowhead that the thing is stuck on. Then, you need get the questID for that job. THEN, use this macro: /run iAbandonQuestID = 85732; C_QuestLog.SetSelectedQuest(iAbandonQuestID); C_QuestLog.SetAbandonQuest(); C_QuestLog.AbandonQuest(); REPLACE 85732 with the questID of the Objective you are stuck on. That SHOULD abandon that quest and allow you to get a new one.

You are a freaking HERO. I’ve been mad all week because this happened to me on Sunday, and I haven’t been able to do the quest or the event! Blizzard was NO help. Refused to even attempt to reset the quest. All they said was to submit a bug report. It’s sad, all the money blizzard rakes in off of subscriptions and store purchases and they can’t even be bothered to provide in game support for simple things like quest bugs. Yeah, I’m stuck here too. There’s a huge green arrow above my head that points to the middle of nowhere. When I get there, I just go around in circles - there’s nothing there. There’s no other indication anywhere on the map, the arrow doesn’t tell me what I’m looking for, and I’m totally lost. UNDERMINE SUCKS. This is the WORST xpat I’ve played in WoW in 15 or so years!!

They have now ‘patched’ part of this… the part that lets you keep your streak if you have to force drop a bugged package objective. Really in-tune with our plight here, Blizz!
