During a Shipping & Handling job streak, if you die, the streak ends. I found this out the hard way. I’m not sure if this is intended - but it doesn’t feel good. It would make sense that a job streak would end if you leave the zone, log out, etc, but death shouldn’t end the streak. Especially with the amount of hostile mobs and ways to take damage that are around!
Putting this in general, because I’m not sure if this is a bug or intended.
Otherwise having a blast in Undermine!! Zone feels great, D.R.I.V.E. is amazing (the drifting feels SO GOOD), the music, the vibes, the nooks and crannies and discoverable items? Big SSS+.
Agreed, ran into this yesterday when at 7/10 and got swamped with mobs during a kill mobs job and ended up dead. Respawned to no streak and said “to hell with this” and didn’t bother doing it again. I wanted to see if you got something extra at the end of it but whatever it is it’s probably not worth the time spent.
I mean it technically makes sense to end the streak because we failed to complete the assigned task, so our streak would end there, but it doesn’t feel good to respawn and have to start all over again. It’s not like the game specifies that we need to complete 10 jobs without dying, it just says to complete 10 jobs in a row, so if you fail to complete a job the game should just let you continue from where you left off rather than resetting you back to zero.
A streak should end at a mistake that’s the whole point. A shooter on a hot streak ends the streak with a miss. It’s the literal definition of the word. If you die during a streak you are no longer on the streak. Like …hello.
The Mandated Break is basically your tenth job. You return to the garage and get your rewards (usually Resonance Crystals and some Crests) once you use the extra action button to sit and drink for 30 seconds. Then you restart at zero and do it all again, if you wish.
hard disagree. I play with war mode on and my server is mainly alliance. It adds an element of excitement to the game. I can almost completely guarantee that you don’t play with warmode so you really shouldn’t be dying to anything to begin with.
