Hi guys. I have a level 15 Paladin and recently activated Chromie Timeline for Wrath of Litch King. I have received the quest “Sail to Northrend”, and I waited in Stormwind Harbor for the ship for about 15 minutes, and it never showed up. Don’t I need to complete that quest to continue with said Chromie Timeline? How can I continue with WoLK? Thoughts and help appreciated 
Welcome to Wow,that ship to northrend has always been buggy sometimes it never shows up.
Btw ,make sure you’re at the right dock with the shark hanging.

I don’t know the exact answer, but here’s my stab at it.
Stormwind: Hit the far northern dock, and see if you can ship out.
IF that fails, perhaps try Menethil harbor, to hit the Howling Fjord.
How do I get to Menethil Harbor from Stormwind?
Hordeside we just hop on the zeppellin.
I assume you have an alliance equivalent.
Your boats are in the Western half of your accursed city I believe, next to the troll emissaries we sent to negotiate peace, which you refuse to listen too.

You have to take the tram in the Dwarven Quarter to Ironforge, then head to the Wetlands.
Take Deeprun to Ironforge, then sail to Theramore Island, then sail to Menethil Harbor, then sail to Howling Fjord.

From Ironforge it is not a short ride to Menethil Harbor. You have to go through Loch Modan through wetlands. I recommend getting a ride from someone with a passenger flyer.
Ironforge is not a port. Do not take the boat to Theramore, take the one to Northrend. When you get there you will have 3 flight points, if you want to do the other zone on the opposite end of the continent.

I haven’t done Chromie time, so I am not sure. But are you seeing something on the Hero’s call board (or whatever it is called), or a quest-giver somewhere, maybe in SW harbor?
Northrend is not one of the zones that requires a player to go through an entrance scenario.
Best and easiest answer.
BTW, you’re awesome for the answer, and the ride.
It’s possible that the portal to Dalaran might be open to him, too.

No worse than the automatic directions that tell you to go to your capital city and take a portal when your destination is only a block away from where you are.

Go to the Stormwind portal room and take the portal to Dalaran, Crystalsong Forest. Then go to Krasus’ Landing and take a flight path to Borean Tundra.
You don’t want to go to Howling Fjord, it sucks.
