Shiny Charms will be Converted to Polished Pet Charms in 10.2.5

Of course I do.

You posted some 7-8 paragraphs and yet somehow managed to ENTIRELY avoid my point.

It’s about USING leveling Stones. How did you type ALLLL of that out, and never once mention MY POINT?

I guess that’s why you’re missing it. Or why you try to equate “playing” the game, to “buying” it. lulz

The ONLY thing I’m saying about “efficiency” is that if you have leveling stones… USE THEM. That’s it! lol

If you only have a few, use them at 24. As you store more (inevitable for the crowd on this board), use them at 23. As you get even more, use at 22, etc etc. It’s not a hard concept.

For some, it seems. gg

Wowhead hasn’t quite caught up with recent patch. Like still says Big Bag of Pet Supplies contains Shiny Charms but if you get one from the Mastering the Menagerie quest, you get Polished Charms out of it.

I know they are. I said they should be like an account-wide currency, not an - as they are currently - account bound item.

That way you don’t have to send everything to one toon to hold it. It would be in the pet tab as a “currency” ready for use on any toon. Bandages, stones, etc.

The Legion table still drops 'em. I had two missions drop on one day earlier this week.

And as I said before, an account-bound currency might mean that the quests that reward those charms are also account-bound. In other words, only one award per pet battle per account. No more coming back to that same quest on an alt that for the same reward.

Finally, before the patch, I unlocked World Quests on Dragon Isles. And I had just enough time to get Lubbins, Shyfly and Toots, and complete the dailies on DI that awards the charms before the shut down.

The Pet Dailies on DI don’t seem all that difficult. I just soloed one of them with my Void-Scarred Anubisath. I’ve done a lot of stuff with DI already, like the Emerald Dream, but it now feels like I can fully exploit it now that WQs are unlocked.

It’s a distinct improvement over Shadowlands (I shudder to think how it could possibly be worse), at least.

I didn’t realize unlocking WQ on DI wasn’t as bad as previous expansions.

And I just finished my DI Safari.

Safari, so good.

Well, I wasn’t replying to you, it was the other person.

I doubt they would hinder it that far, if they made them an account-wide currency. Its a long grind as it is, trying to go for the 10k 5k etc. pets.

And regardless, the next expansion will have an account-wide bank. Just toss everything in there that’s account-wide, better than nothing.

This is something I’ve pointed out in the past. An account bound currency means account-bound achievements.

They already have. Do the Draenor Circuit or the pet battles in Pandaria, then go back with an alt if you don’t believe me. Watch those pet battles not be open to you. To say nothing of the Tiny Terrors of Tanaan. All of those are once per account/day.

That’s a good idea. Something that EverQuest has had since the inception: a shared bank.

Well, I wasn’t here to see it  :stuck_out_tongue:

The thing is, those were like that from the beginning. So that makes sense

I don’t think they would improve on something like that but also take away from it somehow.

Yeah, this is good enough, not just for pet stuff, either.
