Has anyone seen these spawn anymore in DF? Since the expansion release, I have only seen this pool spawn one time in the water next to where the soup event is located.

It says they drop “Copper Coins of the Isle” with a description of ~
“An ordinary rusted coin bearing a dragon’s facade. Can be exchanged for goods with The Great Swog.”
Copper doesn’t rust, Blizzard. Copper corrodes.

Yea, I’m starting to think these pools are an urban legend at this point.

I fish a lot and have never seen them.
I’ve seen two the entire expansion. One on the southwestern coast of azure span the other near all the proto drakes in waking shores. Whenever they appear I think they spawn in out of the way places.
Have seen them at the other docks/areas where there are Tuskkar located. Have fished about 25 of then since release.

I vaguely remember seeing one when I was doing a lot of fishing earlier in the xpac. Haven’t seen one in quite a while.
I’ve fished a couple of them. One was off the coast of the Emerald Gardens. The other was off the coast of Azure Span. I also saw one in Thaldraszus in the waters just south of the Academy, but someone else was fishing it, so I didn’t want to intrude. They do spawn, just infrequently.
Pretty sure it’s just a rare spawn of any fish school. So depends how often fish schools are being cleared in any given area and then the random chance it respawns as a treasure pool.
Anecdotally I don’t see players fishing as much as I did in S1 in the areas of the weekly fishing events, so if overall fishing has become less frequent, the turnover of fish schools could be lower, decreasing the chances of spawning the treasure pools.
