Shifting while feared/hibernate/stunned

Hi. Are druids supposed to be able to shape shift while stunned or feared or hibernated? I haven’t tested this extensively but it seems to happen when I’m in cat form and I’m trying to shift a hibernate and I get hibernated while in human form. It might just be lag but I’m sitting there in human form in a hibernate so it’s weird. Not sure if I’m just able to shift into human form while hibernated and this is happening while I mash my shift button as the cast is going off.

It has also happened to me while feared or stunned. I’ll be in cat or bear form and change into human form during the cc.

You can shapeshift out of your form, because your form is technically an aura that can be cancelled, and casting the form acts as a cancel. You aren’t actually taking an action, and thus can do it while CC’d.

It’s one of the things that kills new druids in PVP all the time.
