I have literally been running around the Shifting Sands for at least 8 hours on and off looking for the Time-Lost Fragments, and I haven’t found one. My Idol of Ohn’ahra eyes have not started to glow not one time over all these hours of looking. Also, when I summon my Grand Expedition Yak, the vendors don’t show. I have to dismount and resummon for them to show. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with not being about to find not one Time-Lost Fragment. Can someone please assist me? I’m sure this quest isn’t supposed to take this long.
I know there is a world quest in that same area right now, but I didn’t have any trouble just a little bit ago finding the Time-Lost Fragments. Have you tried switching in or out of war mode to see if that helps?
It could also be due to phasing in that area for you. Does your character have any relevant quests in their log for that area?

I found them, there’s three possible spots. You will have to search where on your own, but found they can despawn like a mining node, and respawn after a short time.

This seems to me to be the most likely cause of “went to the right spot, it’s not there”, especially if there several players doing the activity at the same time.
I certainly recall having to wait for the object to spawn in while I was standing at the location indicated by the gadget.
