I’m sure there might have been a few posts on this since the shield size change back in 9.0.5, but I still think it’s an issue. Most shield models are either hilariously small or hilariously big. Can we get some balance here, so the shields appear like they are actually of some use without being as big as my entire character?

I can agree with this 100% it’s why I haven’t tried to farm a lot of shield looks…

I’m rather fond of my replica lion heart shield and it’s size… Plus all of those shields I’ve ever equipped seem to be prepositioned correctly.
add a weapon scale slider that goes from 75% model size to 125% model size.
Let the players choose if they want oversized anime weapons, or tiny toothpick weapons.

And correct their placement while they are at it. On my DID she holds her shield up at her elbow with all sorts of clipping issues.
Most of the ‘normal’ old shields suffer from that.
This would be amazing! I personally like the huge shields. So I’m basically stuck with only a few choices.

Bigger the shield the better. I wish they make bigger shields to be honest. I’m always a fan of go big or go home motto.
That’s a really good idea. I doubt they’d ever go for that, but it’d be awesome if they did lol
I like the bigger shields myself. I find these newer shields to be smaller, strange shaped and not even looking like shields mostly. The one I have mogged is my favorite I’ve found this expansion.
I don’t think I’ve actually seen any game do a weapon scale slider, so definitely wouldn’t hold my breath hoping wow will add it.
My complaint with shield is that the larger one clip into the shoulders. It is rather irritating.

Honestly. I love the Bulwark of Azzinoth, but I always have to take off my left shoulder to use it. And if not that, then it’s like the size of a dinner plate.

There is an xcom 2 mod that does it, and it works really well. I don’t see it happening in wow though unfortunately
