Do you think we’ll be able to see prot pallies and prot warriors wield shields and spears? I think that would be super epic. What are your thoughts on that?

“TECHNICALLLY” we can.
you can go into the fury spec so you can equip a 2 hander, and shield.
that way you can use Polearms as your primary weapon.
Not sure how viable it’ll be in any content…
brb. Lets see if I can create a spec for PVP using 2 hander.
I wish! Spears were a weapon category at one point in the original game’s development. It’s still mentioned in the original manual. Give us spears and a shield dps option for warriors again, and let us all live out our 300/Amazonian fantasies!

Give Shaman a Sword/Board DPS build for Enhancement. Do it. It is both good and noble. The shaman year for Glad Spec.

I would play a Blood Elf Paladin wearing some of the BfA mogs with a spear and shield to live out my Achilles fantasy.

EQ has 1h and 2h piercing. 1h Piece had some spears as well as daggers. I really do like the look of a shield and spear.
Just make them “swords” and call it a day. Wouldn’t be the wackiest thing going on.

Trying this spec out. It’s interesting. you lose rampage and raging blow itself.
going to need quite a bit of practice to relearn some abilities. definitely not truly viable. doing some world quests with it roughly 300dps on world mobs in 598 ilvl pvp gear.
