So, DK isn’t my main but out of all my level 60s this one is the most boring and weakest I have. I can put out decent damage but My survivability is complete trash. Not to mention it is so darn boring!!! I log on to it and do a BG or Arena and just… Log out. It is the the most mediocre class I have played so far… Maybe its me?

I know DK isn’t the meta, however in BGs I can do some pretty good damage. I even enjoy the aoe damage for WQ more than my stronger Pally. If you aren’t enjoying it due to thinking they are weak, watch videos and guides to see where you can improve. If you just really don’t like the combat, shelve it.
Blood DK’s only grasp in PvP is a meme build.

I thought UDK was doing well now. Either way, play the other classes you enjoy more. No need to play one you don’t like.

They’re doing very well. But they’re also damage sponges.
I do fine in damage, but defensives and movement is not like my other toons. It feels slow and clunky.
I am thinking about doing it with this mage. At ilvl 172 with full set of Rank 3 PvP gear, she has a HP level of 23000.
My Priest at level 51 puts out more DPS than this mage.
I cannot even venture into SL anymore. I cannot stay alive for very long.
Probably rocks a fire mage

I agree , I played , pally , monk , sham , war , Druid , in BFA . Decided my first two this expac would be priest , dk . Thinking with the whole SL death thing they’d be good to play . Turns out they are the worst . Or as close as it comes . Blood dk is broken , need to make bone shield baseline again , that’s a start
I cant quite put my flinger on it. I mean, when I play my other classes, IE: My ele sham and Spriest, I can survive a while. I do good damage, etc… But with my DK before I know it I am dead. My damage is always good but I die so easy which is what I thought DKs were not supposed to???

Unholy in pvp I noticed is a little clunky because you can’t stack as much haste as you do for a pve build… it really makes a huge difference especially since it has a ramp up time to start doing damage. I suggest trying Frost for pvp, its a really fun setup+decent burst class but ofc relies on a healer to survive.
Hmmm… I might do that. Do you PVP with Frost? I also noticed in the top 100 PVPers there is no UDK but there are 4 FDKs…
I’m not the one you asked but Frost with Absolute Zero is the only way to go as a DK right now for PvP.
I do pvp with frost, granted I’m not good at all mainly because my friends and I don’t pvp much, but when we do we play ww/fdk/holypally comp. It requires decent coordination because your teammates need to understand your setup and when you’re going to pop your cool downs. Its definitely not a solo class though. With the ‘absolute zero’ legendary it becomes a beast in pvp and the fun factor really settles in once you have that legendary. As it did for me, frost might seem simple or boring at first, but its actually really fun once you start to understand its nuances.
