There’s a level 60 flask in there that’s just the level 60 caster flask from vanilla (Which there are level 70 versions of on the vendor) but there’s not like… the 65 int flask from vanilla which would be far more useful than the 25 mp5 flask that healers are stuck with in TBC. (More Mana, more healing power for some healers, scales with kings, ect)
Can we just add distilled wisdom or other flasks to this list to be traded for soulbound flasks please?
Being stuck with a seriously subpar flask, having to go back and farm black lotuses in old world content, or being stuck chugging multiple elixirs a night is just kinda a massive annoyance when everyone else just flasks up and is ready to go through marks.
What trash healer is using a flask instead of healing elixirs at a min? They are dirt cheap and blow all the flasks out of the water. You can buy 20 of them for what one mark is worth
Look at the cost for the raw materials for the healing elixir dreaming glory and golden Sansom are pretty common herbs and are usually cheaper than actually buying the elixirs most of the time.
Maybe on a server that isn’t dominated almost 9 to 1 Alliance to horde and the horde population barely peaks over 300.
If might be peachy keen on a horde dominated server for you, but I happen to like my guild, but also would like options.
Why is the other level 60 flask even on the shattrath city flasks if people are just outright denying the idea of one level 60 flask to be on there? Upset about that too?
I doubt it.
I don’t see how this is a negative change that people gotta be up in arms over.
If its easily on farm, I’d use the free flask. Also, “progression” MH would have been better to use flasks if I had thought of it just because the trash is the hard part and loose mobs going after healers isn’t uncommon.
You are playing tbc and knew what your going into don’t like buying the correct consumes and want a discount ask your guild to cover the diff don’t ask for changes.
There is no reason to change something that is not making the game unplayable in a game made to be as authentic as possible.
I don’t got a flask I can use in there as a feral tank and my exliers cost quite a bit more than yours and don’t see me complaining. And my flask is even more subpar than yours the diff of about 30 personal dps and a small bit of survival vs quite a bit more survival and 200-300 raid dps for using exlliers. The one on there is even worse than the one used in this example.
In fact if you look the majority of raiders don’t use flasks the marks we got sitting in the gb for anyone to take and more drop than people want and to few people use flasks.
Yes and fort flask which your talking about is worthless compared to the pair of goa and agi to the point using ep score you are talking about 20 ep points vs 240 it’s less than 1/10 the value so what’s your point. The ap flask as a note was the flask I was talking about in my org post it’s worth approx 30 personal dps which is rather crap vs goas 200-300 raid dps alone not adding in agi as well as goa provides a good boost in tps due to it adding threat each time to procs.
So no there is not a flask you can use there as a bear tank unless you are planning to troll your raid by costing them the single most powerful consume in the game goa.
Just since something is useable dosent make it remotely good why my comp is quite a good comp to the op that also has a flask that is useable but crap on that vendor (and as such would never be used) vs the other options and the reason he is asking for said change.
Not really for a bear not using goa and using either other flask is the same as not using a flask basicly. But at a far larger raid loss.
Using a int flask on a healer thou yes is low value still is not a large loss to the raid.
It’s quite a bit more useless for a bear to not use goa and use either other flask than a healer to give up elixir for a int flask.
My point stands he is far from the only spec that dosent have a useable option on the flask vendor. Yet it still dosebt require a change as it was like that in og tbc we knew that going in and expected to pay for consumes going in it’s part of tbc.
Your to late to complain about that to the devs that did make the game. Current tbc is made to be as authentic as possible without being unplayable or unmarketable (all phases out at once).
As such it’s not going to change as that was the way it was in tbc as such it is authentic to be that way now. It is not game breaking to be that way and it is not a problem that makes the game unplayable or unmarketable. So should not change just since you don’t want to spend a bit of gold that people did in og tbc and as such is part of playing tbc.
We’re significantly past the point of making it “Authentic”
I find that to be such a terrible argument to begin with, adding a 65 int level 60 flask to the shattrath flask vendor isn’t going to suddenly ruin the game and make it unplayable. There’s already been far more egregious changes to the game.
They should just stick all the flasks on the flask vendor, leveling the field.
I really don’t care if it’s not 100% BIS the most optimized choice to use, I’ve already killed illidan 3 times, at this point it’s just on farm, and I’d like to be able to use marks properly the same as everyone else.
