I was just in a bg where a mage cast Ice Block and I used Shattering Throw to no avail. I wasn’t able to remove his Ice Block. What happened? Did the prepatch nerf Shattering Throw?
Shattering throw is on a choice node against wrecking throw. The latter does not remove immunities, but has a shorter cooldown and is instant cast.

Base shattering throw i think does not break immunities.
You talent into either being able to break immunities or having a like 45 second CD on it.

I’m looking at the warrior talent tree now. I have a choice between Wrecking Throw or Shattering Throw. I chose Shattering Throw, and in the tooltip it says “…and removing any magical immunities.”
I think Shattering Throw is bugged, because it doesn’t break a mage’s Ice Block

The block wasn’t protected by Bop or Intervene, was it?
Nope, it wasn’t
I experienced this during a Rated Solo Shuffle… Shattering Throw did not remove BoP, and I thought I was going crazy… even the Paladin stopped for a minute, like “Huh?”
