You’re talking about Blessing of Protection, which is still an immunity (albeit a physical-only immunity), as it removes physical DoTs and debuffs.
Aspect of the Turtle is not an immunity. It deflects incoming attacks, but unlike a true immunity, it doesn’t do anything to effects that are already applied to you.
Maybe just as importantly, Aspect of the Turtle is not magical, and Shattering Throw specifies that it only removes magical immunities. (I do wonder if it removes the magic immunity from Cloak of Shadows, but I’m assuming it doesn’t.)
Imagine wanting hunter’s only defensive being remove by Shattering throw

It doesn’t remove barriers, but it does deal 500% increased damage to them.

Is it ever worth it to use it on anything other than bubble and iceblock? I find when I use it on other things I don’t have it when someone bubbles or blocks.
If there’s someone with an actual immunity, I would always save it for that.
If it’s a team without one, I’m not sure if it’s a DPS gain compared to normal abilities (probably not, given the cast time and the fact that standing still gives the target time to move away from you), but if you’re rooted and you don’t have a way to break out, I’d imagine it could help put some pressure on, say, a disc priest.
True, and it’s not like they can continue being offensive during it either. Well, unless they have a pet.
Turtle is no different. It has a counter.
my man, this is a 3 year old post you replied to.

Does shattering throw remove shaman’s Burrow?
I got killed by a war (I think ) through burrow and wondered if it got “shattered “ or it could’ve just been dots I guess.
It was dots. Shattering throw wouldn’t go off in that scenario
