Shattering Throw and Gag Order?

Is bringing those abilities back to warriors a sin on developers? Is there a specific reason why they took away shattering throw? Did those abilities that kept a warrior in a healthy state hurt classes in 1 vs 1 encounters a lot due to pressuring ignoring the fact this game is all about team vs team? Is having a advantage in 1 vs 1 a sin?

Yeah, but it’s okay for them to return fire with their not removed abilities. They wanted to limit comps this way so warriors won’t be on every team due to those abilities in arena though in rated battlegrounds it wouldn’t be much of an issue. That’s why focusing on class balance for arenas is bad. If they limelight rated battleground from the start I wonder how class balance for pvp would be?

Because they pruned alot of other abilities from other classes.

Warriors tried to heroic leap from the pruning, but nothing escapes Blizzards trimming scissors…

Ion admitted live that pruning went too far and they were looking at what they should reintroduce, so now is definitely the time to speak up and make them pay attention to the skills we’ve lost and want back.

Well I hope they bring those abilities back. I wouldn’t mind even burst of speed to make a comeback, the old deterrence and counterattack for survival hunter. The game had so much flavor.

God. God, no. I have awful memories from being a BG healer in Mists where rogue FCs would just dance mocking circles around me. Unreachable. Unkillable. :sob:

Definitely miss shattering throw, and fake shattering paladins/mages so they’d be scared to bubble/block

I think if they were to bring back old talents I suppose the rogue could build towards that, but what would be the sacrifice?

I’ll give up Barrier and one tick of Penance to get Spirit Shell back.

No way it had its good benefits when protecting allies who were about to get hit back power caster spells. Sure it added pressure when it came to 1 vs 1, but it was a team ability when you can’t reach the enemy who is spell caster on your healer.

However since if they were to bring old talent trees back a warrior can spec towards that, but the sacrifice would be shattering throw.

or talent trees spec towards that route because that way you have a choice to get either one. They really need to bring in something new to spice up the gameplay.

It was one of the more toxic abilities in warriors toolkit. granted it was combined with banners, and mass reflect. It obviously was strong, but it was too strong. Warriors shouldn’t have access to a silence. Especially one attached to throw.

Actually it fits their theme by being brutal on the battlefield. They’re suppose to be seen as a threat and the best thing is that it added more comps to be created for pvp, but that vision on Blizzard end died way too soon.

It got nerfed in the same expansion it was introduced in. Thematic or not it was broken. I didn’t mention their theme.

Shattering thrown was retardely overpowered and gag order was also uneeded in a class that has a lot of mobility already.

Funny thing about the skills people want back, none of them are flavored or etc. They are just overpowered. ST, Symbiosis, BoS, etc etc

Yeah I know and I also know you didn’t mention their theme. I said it fits their theme by being brutal on the battlefield pressuring their enemies. Taking it away especially shattering throw hurt warriors a lot, but also teammates that could of been saved by gag order benefits.

But it destroyed a immune barrier. I am cool with immune barriers from a paladin, but not fighting through it. That’s the part that’s uncalled for which is why shattering throw should be brought back.

I feel like arms as a master of weapons would be good at cleaving multiple enemies.

They should make sweepinstrikes make our abilities also do 5-10% of dmg to all nearby enemies. Stacking deep wounds as well.

Should help with how arms has no sustain aoe and slight buff to single target.

They made Warriors too strong in PvP.
They are already consistently good in PvP, having the immunity break and silence is just too much for them generally speaking.
