Sharpening stone crafting is a bit out of touch

Was it really intended for sharpening stones to require a null stone for a single 2 hour buff? 6,000 gold for 2 hours, two weapons… so 12,000 gold for 2 hours of playing the game.

Just feels… a bit harsh. I could see if one craft made 20 or so stones… then a 6,000 gold null stone goes quite a bit further. Right now it’s kind of insane.

The crazy part isn’t the nullstone’s price. It’s people that list the sharpening stones for less gold than it costs a single nullstone. They’re literally throwing away all money and don’t even want to make as much as a copper profit.

Not sure why you posted that in the warrior forums but I agree. Requiring a null stone for it is absurd. Hell, even an imperfect Null Stone would be too much.

The oils are better for us currently and much cheaper.

Man i suppose thats accurate… so sadge that the best WEAPON ENHANCEMENT for MELEE is from Enchanting and mana oils… what the heck is going on here.

I mean I guess that could be a bother if you’re heavy into RPing a specific character type but for general gameplay nothing is impacted.

FWI A Blizz blue post did mention they would increase the amount of Stones produced per craft so the price should go down, remains to be seen if Stones overtake Oils in later tiers.

Ha, no im definitely not an RPer… just feels weird because I cant remember a time where BS didnt make weapon enhancements for melee.

Feel like enchanters made oils for casters / healers and BS did Melee stuff. But its w.e i suppose.
