Sharkbait - still attainable?

So is Sharkbait still attainable?

I have over 450 attempts now. I run at least 6 level 60s every week. In BfA I got at least 200 attempts in via Mythic+. I do skip straight to Harlan Sweete. I’ve seen some people mention it took them over 500 runs to finally get it. Is RNG really that bad with this one? Rarity seems to think it’s a 0.5% drop rate, but I’m well into 0.25% drop rate and falling.

I guess I’m just wanting to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong (like, did they change it where you must kill all bosses, etc?).

It should still drop, I do believe its mythic only (Someone correct me if I am wrong) so that might be it? Otherwise its just “good” ol’ low rng.

That’s what I just wrote too. Pretty sure it’s M only. Would have to google.

it’s the same % as the other BFA dungeon drops. So it could drop 1 in 100 times, or if you’re on a bad luck streak, way more than that.

Been after this one for a few years myself…last BFA dungeon mount i need. GL friend. :nerd_face:

Really I can think of worse dungeons to have to spam run for a mount. Like setthek halls for anzu, or utgarde pinnapple for blue proto drake. Freehold at least is a dungeon i look forward to doing whereas the others make me wanna hurl.

Ah yes, that fear that you’re doing something wrong when it comes to getting a drop that’s just low-% RNG. I’ve experienced that myself at times, even though the rational part of me knows that there’s literally nothing to it besides looting the mob(s) until it drops.

I got him back in bfa without even farming it. Never use him though.

Ah. I wanted to farm it, but I find it too long/annoying still at level 60.

You can skip to the last boss, effectively. If you can’t stealth then you only have to kill one and a half packs before the boss.
