Shared Mob Spawns List

Just curious if there’s a list pertaining what mobs share spawns with each other. For example, IK that the Spiders in WPL share spawns with the Diseased Wolves and Bears. If you can’t find enough Wolves and/or Bears, in WPL for the Quest, you have to eliminate the Spiders. I, also, found out (today, actually) that the Thistle Bears and Rabid Thistle Bears share the same Spawn points as the Moonstalkers, out in Darkshore. Was wondering if there’s a list anywhere pertaining what shares what. If not, what spawn points have you’ve seen being shared, out in the world?

Eliminate all spiders!!!

I don’t know if there’s a list, but you can kind of figure it out with questie by comparing what is actually spawning vs what questie says should spawn there.

just… kill… everything…

its really annoying to get into a zone and see everything except the quest mob alive because people are lazy.

more often than not its actually faster to spend time killing everything because when it all respawns you will have the same number of quest mobs as before, instead of half.

especially in areas where there are 3 or heaven forbid 4 shared spawn mobs.

lets take an example. there are 20 mobs. 10 are quest related, 10 are not.

you only kill the quest mobs. when they respawn you now have 5 quest mobs and 15 not.

You can see how just focusing quest mobs is not efficient unless you are really lucky with drops. you are better off killing everything to ensure a higher number of quest mobs.

Not every quest mob works this way. There are maybe only a dozen quests in the entire game where the targeted quest mob shares spawn points with non-quest mobs.

Shoo, elitist.

are… are you serious…

a dozen??

almost every single mob shares spawns with other mobs.

especially beasts.

sometimes there is just nothing else for it to share with.

beasts usually share spawns with beasts, humanoids with humanoids etc.
