Share your Vault Rituals

It’s all RNG, I know, but I have had seasons where I do odd things before/during opening the vault to try and shift luck to my side. Share with me what you do? A couple of my past examples below:

  • Open the vault, but just before the bar finishes, move so it interrupts the “generating loot”, which I assume “rerolls” the vault results. Sometimes, two or three times before letting the bar finish.
  • Standing on the barrel or walkway next to the vault to be as high as possible when opening it, which I assume grants better loot because the RNG is based on player coods when you click it…I’m sure.
  • Waiting till a certain time on the clock (based on my imagined running loot sequence), because I think it has some impact on loot rolls.

I go straight for the heartbreak, open vaults in order of importance so there’s no additional buildup

disclaimer: It doesn’t work at all for getting good loot

I run in, open it, and accept whatever it is without emotion.

Run to the vault,
make sure I’m in the right specialization,
right click portrait and make sure I have the right loot specialization selected,
click vault and stare really closely at the cast bar to make sure it also says the correct specialization,
collect loot.

I go to vault, open, pick piece in priorty of mog>ilvl>currency. It’s just a piece of gear.

I open it and look, then i do a bunch of my weekly activities and keep my vault options in the back of my mind, i only make my selection when i can no longer get loot for the week.

Well, I’m gonna start sacrificing Night Elves on the altar of RNG.

Bonus points if they are Demon Hunters lol

It is sad to admit I do have a Vault Ritual:

I start from the bottom up. My lowest Alt with a Vault. And I work my way up.

Sometimes an Alt gets a really good thing… and that carries some good feelings over as my Main does not.

I open the vault and then think “hmm well that’s stupid” then get tokens

Occasionally I think, instead, “hmm well that’s helpful” and then pick it

Expecting the first makes the vault experience painless.
