Ok, so, share some of your builds…
i made this build lately
i think the bleeds plus signet, plus executes, plus the healing from deep wounds, plus skullsplitter, plus bastion spear, plus condemn, plus unhinged…
whats not to love ?

FURY - Maximize self-sustain and avoid active abilities whenever able:
so you want to afk raids ?
I’ll probably be doing something just like this. Idk about deadly calm though. I haven’t used it much and I’d need practice getting it in my opening, but I’m so glad to be able to pick so much more as arms. I also Love the increased vers talent and the optional Crit damage increase we can do. I love stacking crit/vers as arms. Too bad the 4 piece tier crapped on all my verse pieces currently.
Edit:The leech is very cleverly much welcome to arms.
what leech on arms ?. afaik, there is a 30% deep wounds heal …
As for arms, it was that or 10% more overpower dmg… I think that one looks more promising…
PvP build. Prioritizing durability and utility while still grabbing all the important damage talents from both trees. Skips Spear and Thunderous Roar because I feel those abilities lack usefulness in PvP. Slow, heavy hitting spec that can be a swiss army knife in 3s and take a hit.
Shockwave is subject to change though because I feel 2 seconds is a bit short. Will have to see how that plays.
I think the Blunt Instruments talent needs a little work as it seems to only have situational value while Sharpened Blades has value all the time. I see swords and axes being more of a priority than maces if it stands the way it is now.
Built for M+ in mind
excuse me what
My PvP plan. There are 2 flex points I have currently in Furious Blows & Shattering Throw that could/might be moved around.
Namely spear as roar isn’t really in game currently and unable to be tested in PvP, but in my experience is nice when it lands and lasts the duration, but as I’ve said in alot of other posts regarding Spear it’s pretty useless against locks, rogues, mages, monks, priests, DKs (fairly certain AMS breaks it), who all have ways to get out of it. Hunters may be able to get out of it with feign. I was more sure of that when they had Craven but not as sure now.
I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and say DKs and hunters can’t get out of it. You still have mages, locks, rogues, priests, and monks that can either walk or port right out of the spear.
So now the spear is only useful against 55% of classes in the game. The other 45% of the time it’s a wasted talent.
I’m not saying it’s objectively bad. I’m saying subjectively based off my experience it’s been bad and I’d rather spend a talent on something I know I’ll get value out of. Same reason I play necro now. I’m not the biggest fan of necro banner. It’s boring. But it’s a sure buff 100% of the time and I know that I will get value from it every time I press it.
I’d rather have consistency than “Oh well maybe this will work, maybe it won’t. Depends if this rogue has Shadowstep or not” kinda thing.
roar is just a worse ancient aftershock
very similar, i would swap Fervor of Battle for Fueled by Violence and concusive blows for Unhinged.
also. on the warrior tree… Do you really prefer shockwave and 10% speed over Spear of Bastion + Elysian Might ?
And do you really prefer more Tactician chance over Condemn ?
I like it i would just swap Bloodsurge for Juggernaut… I know stacks are hard to build, but i see instances where in Arenas you may really start applying pressure with execute stacks …
My talents second version… Just playing with bleeds and having more pressure overall…
I drew that similarity. Damage is overall probably the same but less upfront and more bleed, which I’m sure can be strong if you do a bleed build. Only time will tell.

The only guideline I have to judge the Fueled By Violence talent on is how much damage does Deep Wounds do now? The answer is not much, so the heal would be negligible, especially in PvP where you’ll be dealing with MS effects and dampening in some cases. At least in that build where bleeds aren’t a priority. Again, it looks like you could go for a bleed build and it be pretty strong; I’ll definitely be trying it and in that case I would likely go with FBV. With the build I posted it’s more about the up front, big swings though. The swapping Concussive Blows for Unhinged is a possibility. I just think if it stacks with the talent from the class tree having a 12 second interrupt and a 5% damage increase tied into every time you interrupt someone is pretty strong.
As for Spear of Bastion; yes. I hate the ability. It’s awkward to use for me and as I explained above is teetering on useless against almost half the classes in the game. Unless they buff it to where those classes can neither port or walk out of the spear, I don’t see myself using it much. But I could potentially look into other options than Shockwave seeing as it is only a 2 second stun. Would prefer to see it be 3 seconds at least. Maybe add a PvP talent option to make the duration longer? Or add an additional talent under it? Who knows.
Now, your Condemn question. You made me realize something and I’ll get into it in a second but let me explain my initial reasoning for Tactician>Condemn. Was the same reason I always liked Rend over Massacre, and why I play Necro over Kyrian and Venthyr. That reason is simply I hate situational abilities and talents. Doesn’t mean they’re not strong and I haven’t used them before. Early in this xpac Venthyr’s Condemn was just too good not to play. So I played it. I just rather play abilities and talents that I know I can for certain get value out of. I brought up Rend vs Massacre. Because I know I can use Rend for the whole fight, and not just below 35% hp. Also with Condemn I felt rage starvation was an issue but that was probably a little exaggerated in my own mind.
You kinda see where I’m going with that. Consistency is key for me.
Now with that said, your reply made me go back and check my talents again and I think I will make the switch from increased Tactician chance to Condemn, and the main reason is because I forgot about Exploiter. The synergy and damage there is just going to be way too good to ignore. So yes, good call on pointing that out. The burst potential with those two talents will be insane.
I drew that similarity. Damage is overall probably the same but less upfront and more bleed, which I’m sure can be strong if you do a bleed build. Only time will tell.
its damage is scaled extremely low right now. will probably get tuned because it just looks so bad on paper.
Honestly kind of expected them to make it more like Dragon’s Roar. But yea, any time you have an ability like that it’s subject to multiple rounds of tuning just to get it right because it’s either terrible or way OP.
Im up all for consistency, but i hate to my core fights dragging up to dampening…
Thats why situational burst windows are cool, they give you chance to go for a kill.
As for the Spear of Bastion. Its really good, i think you can use it even just to close the gap. Although TBH i was having the most fun with Ancient Aftershock + Shapeshift, it was the first covenant i choosed, and being Arms, but nowadays im following the badwagon of spear + fury.
I may return to Night Fae. Thats how i started, and i loved hitting like a truck… the issue was that i saw that the legendary effect was too lackluster… but now that Unity is not scaling to 311, i may dump it and just go night fae and use only Signet leggo.
One thing is for certain though… i am extremely happy that as warriors, we may be the class that is keeping the most out of Shadowlands, we kept, Spear, Ancient Aftershock (now called thunderous), Condemn, Signet, Unhinged, The Wall, and i could kept going… even the Bastion potion we kept it in form of a skill !
My priest only kept Mindgames (it was too good as a mechanic to let it die, thanksfully they didnt let it die, even though i was Kyrian as disc, Night Fae as Holy, Necro as Shadow)
Hunters ?, i was expecting them to at least keep the Kyrian Ability, being able to bypass LOS was extremely cool, i didnt even put numbers togheter, it was an ability too cool to pass.
This is mine as Arms for PvP

I love all the synergies.
Crit->Better Synergy with Critical damage and More rage->More Execute->More rage expended->Better Anger Management and Test of Might and more procs of Tactician->Shorter Bladestorm Cd->More Signet of tormented kings procs->More Unhinged value
Battle stance , Cruel strike , Critical thinking (I have to say that the name for this talent is great) and Sharpened Blades give you 11% Crit and 21% Crit for execute.
Crit I think is gonna be so good, more rage from Seasoned Soldier, more rage means Anger Management is gonna be even better and you also got more talents for rage generation like War Machine and Frothing Berseker, this also means Test of Might is gonna be huge. You can expend that rage easily on executes. You also have Elysian Might, Impale, Skull Banner and Sharpened Blades that improve a lot your critical damage.
I think the options between Punishment(Condemn) and Exploit the Weakness (3% Tactician proc) are really a choice because both are gonna be so good. Exploiter or Battlelord synergy, both are really good, this is a good design.
Is the same for In for the kill and Test of Might are both really good, probably In for the kill will be better at the begining of the expansion and Test of Might will be freaking good later on.
In general I think we can change our playstyle in a personal way, Arms tree looks gorgeous. I wanna comment a few things only.
Sweeping strikes on a 45seg cd and only 12 seg feels underwhelming, specially with the talent that Improve it 2 seconds, I think 2 seconds is too weak, maybe the baseline can last 15seg and get another choice there.
The only defensive talent is Fueled by Violence, a Conduit that is kinda bad in retail, I think it should be replaced or it should work with all bleeds.
Everything else is about how you customize your rotation, you want everything but you have to choose and I think is great and that is how every talent tree should be.
Fatality I really wanna know how it works in PvP, because only with the tooltip I don’t know how many stacks you can get, you can wait until enemy have a lot of stacks to one shot him with a Sudden Death proc even if it can’t crit so I think it should be capped somehow.
The Warrior tree is also pretty good (Stormbolt, Double Time and Impending Victory at the same time!) but some talents feel awkward:
You can Unstoppable Force without without Thunder Clap,
There are also some talents to go down on the tree that are very bad for some specs like Furious Blows
Impending victory is too good to pick Piercing Howl and I love Piercing Howl, I would like it this one can be in a different spot.
Bitter Immunitty, aka Kyrian potion, would be great as a 2min cd, at least in PvP 3min defensive is a bit underwhelming.
Shockwave is also on a weird position, a 2 sec aoe stun doesn’t feel good enough to force to go there if you aren’t a Prot warrior for Mythic+ Maybe a talent to make Charge stun again.
General Thoughts
Arms
We lost Ignore Pain and Dbts is on a longer CD but now we can pick Double Charge, Storm Bolt and Impeding victory. We can also pick Bitter Immunity, Pain and Gain and Siphoning Strikes. I think Arms is gonna have similar defensive level.
Fury
I think fury can spec to be pretty tanky, 15%leech, impending victory, spaming bloodthirst with CSHB, Enraged regeneration buffed, Dbts, warpaint and also Defensive Stance. The talent tree for Fury Im not sure until I can test something, double 1h actually feels like a real option and I love to see Odin’s fury back. I would like a choice between Ravager and Bladestorm.
Can someone with Alpha tell us if Defensive Stance is still nerfed in PvP?
Un nerf d stance
Dragonflight Talent Calculator - 10.0.0 Beta (wowhead.com)
For PVP: 2 burst set ups instead of one, kills on opener or in 30-40seconds every game.
First: Execute, overpowerx2, Sweeping strike, Stormbolt (healer or kill target organize with team), warbreaker, Sharpen/bladestorm -----> Charge/fear healer off of stun or partners cc you have dbl time so this is easy.
You get trinket with this burst almost always and a or a major defensive.
Second Setup: Get execute proc, Skullbanner/Avatar, Stormbolt target without trinket, Spear, Warbreaker, Execute for 100k+
30-40sec after the first go that almost won u the game, u have stormbolt back and fish for a proc of execute, its 5 globals unless skullbanner is off global than its 4. the breakdown for why the execute will literally execute is:
Avatar-20% dmg increase
Skullbanner-20% crit dmg
Spear-15% crit dmg
Sharpened Blades-20% crit dmg - Execute has an additional 10% chance to crit.
Impale-20% addition dmg on crits
Warbreaker-30% increased dmg
Sudden Death- executes as if 40 rage is used instead of executes limit at 20 rage
Across the 2 talent trees (base and arms) you get 11% crit + 5% for just being a war, 16% base crit, very easy to go up to 25-30%, with 200-400 crit. from there you grab 30% mastery to simulate having Necro banner all the time, and put the rest in haste. Vers already comes on all gear and u get 4% from the arms tree for free meaning you only need 26% or 32% whether your doing for vers soft cap or just base lvl vers required (30%).
For Survival you have access to Shockwave, D stance, Impending Victory,Big Rally, Die by the sword, and Bitter immunity and your only trying to live between your opening set up and the other 40sec later.
This out paces 1min defensive cds and depending on your RNG can be done before Disarm CDs are available by the enemy team. Anything short of an immunity will not survive that second go.
They need to put condemn and juggernaut in Fury as well. Its silly and stupid that condemn was taken away from FUry.
