Yes, it still has Glacier Spike.
As Outlaw Rogue, I’m using Loot Raid-R as my utility curio. At rank 4, it gives a 10% damage boost that lasts 15s every 30s, making it a solid 5% damage boost overall (plus highlighting curiosities).
Still trying to figure out what combat curio to use. I tried out the Footbomb Dispenser, but not once did it activate in combat (the one time it did activate was right as combat ended, and they despawn if you enter a new combat).
Ill let you know when he finishes rezing, he dies so fast its hard to remember whar i made him.
That’s what I use, Outlaw has very good movement speed with Hit and Run allowing them to dart in and out of combat.
On my dps alts I’ve been using the Goblo Bouncing Grenade and it procs a lot and does good damage when I check Brann’s dps meter.
I have an assassin rogue but pretty much run all of my dps alts the same, with Brann as healer, Goblo Bounce Grenade, and Overdrive Pylon.
And glad this thread got some traction I really wanted it to stay alive a bit longer lol.
I run 6 different tanks (warrior, pally, DM, DK, druid and monk) with the same DPS Brann load out; Mechasaur EZ-Build kit and 3D Bioprinter. Mostly do 8s for speed but do a couple of 11s each for tokens. No problem on any tank class and very fast. The mirror copies do about 30-40% of the damage. The Dinos vary more and their pathing and targeting really suck, but when they work they do similar damage. Makes it a walk in the park mostly; you just have to start slow and kill a couple of elites to mirror.
healer bran with
Goblin Death Bomb
and the Titanfall mech lol
For DPS, Healer Brann with Mechasaur EZ Build Kit and 3D Bioprinter.
For Healer, Tank Brann with Goblomagnetic Bouncing Grenade and 3D Bioprinter.
For Tank, DPS Brann with Mechasaur EZ Build Kit and 3D Bioprinter (though, I’ve only played him once, so this could change).
I run healer Brann on my Spriest w max rank mechasaurs and Loot Raid R
I think the Pylon is probably only good on Underpin since combat doesn’t last very long
Class/Spec: Holy Priest.
Brann: Set as Tank
Combat Curio: Mecha Dino egg :3 (I know it has a name but Mecha Dino Egg sounds cooler :3)
Utility Curio: Rig.
I go with this combination when I’m playing on Noct and not playing her as a Shadow Priest because while I can support Brann and make sure he lives throughout the delve, it can sometimes take between twenty to forty minutes to clear a delve with no real combat additions from me outside of a dot here and a Smite there.
The egg does a tremendous amount of damage at 4/4, easily taking down elites without much hassle. So when Brann throws one out it helps speed things along quite nicely, especially since they stay on the field for a surprising amount of time. And the Pacifist Rig is just broken strong. Complete immunity to damage and effects for ten seconds and you do a tremendous amount of AOE damage? Fair enough. And at 4/4 the thing procs fairly consistently.
Drawbacks: These two curios when they are active are unbelievably strong… but that’s the keyword, active. Even maxed out there’s always a chance they do not proct and you are left without any benefits outside of your class and Brann spec.
Another big downside is the fact that while the Rig is powerful and can melt anything in its path, you are locked to your original position that the rig impacted you on, which means if the boss/elite does a big AOE or charge-up attack and it happens as you are returned to your body, you are likely going to end up returning to the starting point or checkpoint on Tier 11 delves as most of those mechanics tend to be one-shots. Also another issue with the Rig, which, to be fair, is more of a bug in the game, is the fact that when you eject from the mech, there’s a possibility of the game just Dcing you on the spot and you come back dead, with a life consumed in the process even if you were on the verge of beating the enemy and or boss.
Just for anyone who plays with a friend, I think using the pacifist rig might drop threat. I used it on my tank character and my arms warrior friend got slapped. Oop.
The dino egg triggers less for tank Brann for some reason.
if you open Brann’s spell list at the start of the dungeon and switch his role to healer you’ll notice the dino egg spell jumps further up the list, I’m guessing the list is kind of a spell priority thing?
Either way, I stopped using the dino egg with me as a healer and Brann as tank because I was having delves where it would only proc maybe 3 times. I could go an entire boss fight without it triggering at all, which really sucked because the fights really drag with no curio involvement.
On enhance shaman 643:
–used healer Brann with Pinged augment chip and Pacifist rig for Waxface in Waterworks on T11. This was the only set up that got him down for me.
I already lost all my lives as I went thru different set ups, but I will use that one from now on for T11 bosses as dps.
I found it more of an issue if I go as a Healer with DPS players in the party and Tank Brann. If I get the rig then Brann isn’t getting heals and will almost always eat dirt.
My main combo is Rig and Dinos with Brann as DPS for my Tank specs or Rig and Dinos with Brann as a Healer for my DPS toons.
Healer Brann with the turrets and Bio Scanner and I go in dps spec. Pretty much makes it easy mode for all the classes I play. If I’m feeling lazy I’ll go tank spec and switch him to dps mode.
Moon bear, dps brann. Mechasaur eggs and bio printer.
Eggs do lots of damage when they proc, bioprints do okay constant damage once the curio is tier 4 after your first elite fight. Branns dps cause i dont need any outside survivability and his occasional insta-kill on low health elites makes them go much faster.
