Just remember there is no dungeon/raid finder.
You need chat to form groups. Sharding will put a big dent in that.

Have you ever been at a stadium full of people (like music or sport event)? 100,000 people charged with the same idea? It feels astonishingly great. Now imagine someone would implement sharding and you would only see a hundred people around. It would feel less overcrowded and more balanced, I agree. But would it feel more exciting?...
