I know it’s more complicated than this but god I wish they’d just like…recolor a small section of Suramar City and use that for SMC.

I’m in shock in a happy way. They did it! And they remembered to put it in patch notes!

Thankfully, they’ve gotten a couple more lead developers to rein in Ion Hozzikoastas. And they’ve learned a lot of things from classic that’s been imported over to live.

So hopefully the new developers will tell Ion to say “NO STOP WHAT ARE YOU DOING!”

At this point, the Good Expansion, Bad Expansion, Good Expansion cycle has been so reliable it almost looks intentional.

i thought stormwind already was a theme park.

is it not disneyworld? was i scammed? i knew the attractions sucked. too many clowns, not enough disney.

also yeah they tend to shard cities early in the expansion to reduce server load. did it in bfa and legion, just we all actually had content to do so we didnt see the worst of it.

though yeah, not seeing a single person in stormwind was jarring enough the other day to make me check if somehow a bug had server transferred me. when i saw i was still on wra, i cashed my check and sailed for warmer waters.
