How is sharding going affect world bosses? If you are on a pvp server could u dodge getting ganked by an enemy guild by moving to another shard?
Layering will be switched off after the first few weeks. There are no world bosses until CP2, which is (most likely) 3-4 months after launch.
Layering will not affect world bosses.

Blizzard is not implementing sharding in WoW Classic, that is a completely separate technology.
