How does it work exactly?
Do we get separate appearances per spec? Like, when you go Balance, your wearbear form suddenly turns into regular bear? – This is how it currently works, and it kind of sucks because druids don’t have much appearance customization in the first place.
Will I be able to use the tree cat form in resto spec, for example? Or essentially any legion skin regardless of spec? – This is how I wish it’d work, but since it’s currently tied to the weapons, we can’t.
I haven’t looked into it, but I feel the artifact appearances will still bed spec specific, just like all the other artifact weapons.
However, you can still customize your bear/cat form in other specs for different fur colors that are currently based your hair color.
If the Shadowlands character creator is any clue, there are two “tabs” between groups of customization. It is guessed that there will be a “tab” or more to cover that customization.

Personally, I hope any bear/cat forms you have unlocked can be used for any spec.

The Legion artifact appearances in the barber shop aren’t in the build yet.
yeah, I read that in a comment on the youtube video. Here’s to hoping they won’t be spec limited.
Seeing as how the challenge forms are the artifact weapons for us, they probably will and should be spec specific.

Artifact forms for resto!
Forms are not going to be spec restricted. From the original blue post: “This addition to the Barber Shop services will also include the option to select Bear and Cat Form Artifact appearances so all Druid specs can have the choice to shapeshift into their unlocked Artifact appearances.”

Yeah I seen that, I just wans’t sure if it was worded funny or if that is what they were actually saying.
There was even a rumor running around that the Fire Cat form from Cataclysm will be available if you have the toy. I guess we may have to wait till Beta and accounts having their full unlocks available to know for sure.
