Shang Xi’s Academy Reputation

Hello everyone!
So if you’re a pandaren, you probably know about the first reputation you encounter, Shang Xi’s Academy, that’s seemingly impossible to get to Exalted.
Even if you do every quest in the zone, you cannot get it above honored.

But what if you could?

I haven’t exactly “tested” this yet, but could you use the party sync function to “replay” the starting zone quests in order to increase the reputation up to Exalted? Did anyone test that out yet?
Not much point to doing it, since there’s no reward, but is it possible?

Last time I checked there is nothing you actually do to get exalted and there is nothing that you can get for being exalted.

Even replaying quests that give rep won’t increase it?

You gotta remember you have quite a way to go to get exalted. There simply are not enough quests to fill it. Unless they have changed or will change something. But I’ve been all over that turtle looking for it myself just out of the spirit of completion.

I don’t know about the new fancy quest sync… try it but only if you need to get pandas off the island because I’m not sure if it will work. I’ve had trouble getting sync to work with normal stuff.

Even if there’s only one quest, by doing party sync, you can replay it again and again and again to get more reputation, in theory.

If you were able to party sync for rep then people would have flying in one day instead of 3 weeks.

I think the rep is a place holder because you do not belong to either the horde or alliance yet. No other race starts out like this.

It was an interesting theory while it lasted.

Perhaps someday they’ll add a little daily quest or something.

I earned it until “revered”
The only way i found was a VERY BIG coincidence in which “Winds of the Sanctuary” and Pandaria Timewalking were active at the same time, for a 100% increase. But even with all that could not get exalted rep.

Old thread that was bumped, but as an FYI you can’t party sync with anyone on the island because you get an error about not being able to do so until someone in the party finishes the starting quests, otherwise I’d have gone back to pick up a quest again for convenience.
