I imagine the addon let’s you specify the role you are applying for, so… fundamentally no different information is required or exchanged.

If you’re blindly inviting people just because they say “i’m healer” that’s on you, vanilla isn’t invite whoever
good question, because M+ is retail. There is no difference. Hence why we have classic, to get away from that.

That really depends, I did a ton of pugging in vanilla and got invited with nothing more than an “I’ll go” whisper. Such deep meaningful communication…

so basically nothing would change in that respect lol, i remember a lot of that too honestly for lower level stuff, i guess I was speaking more from stuff you actually wanted people who knew what they were doing.
The person can post only so often also. But not like a borg. The person is human and will quit after a bit. The automated text of an add on is like torture after a bit. It just keeps going and going and going.

Sure and in that regard I’ll willing to bet that people who trying to do timed baron runs or whatever even if they are using the add on won’t just be inviting the first 4 people who apply either.
So it’ll have that same vetting process when needed that people seem to value so much.
so can the addon, both are restricted by the same chat system, how can you tell the difference between any of the 3 modes of text entry?
yup, we are in agreement, addon changes nothing seems people just hate it cause it’s the cool thing to do

In my opinion this addon should not go live because it makes grouping way too easy.
well you see, that is another point of contention. It hides its Identity. It should be informing us that it is an add on in some sense. It would be misleading the public.
No. Skynet is looking for a group. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until it runs Deadmines.
