Shamans Rejoice, our time is coming.....?!

So let’s just jump into it I now can see why this expansion has not heralded the sort of attention to us Shamans as it should. Most of us noticed how little association with the storyline Shamans have played even during such an “elemental” based expansion.

We have seen little to no updates to our look (skins, glyphs, ascendance visual, lightning visuals, and other visuals in general) – We did get the Red Eredar (Seeing Red: Questline) visual update which is actually cool. Some other things have been updated but like I said “little” or no updates.

So are you ready for this…The next expansion is shaping up for the return of Thrall!!!

This would explain the lack of meaningful updates for us this expansion its because they are saving it for the next new story in a Warcraft expansion.

What do you guys think? Are you ready for Thralls’ return and us shamans’ uprising to dominance? And updates to our visuals like Ascendance and more…

I’m not holding my breath because I think most statistics say shaman is the second least played class (after monk) but if another elemental themed, Thrall-involved expansion happens with shamans getting absolutely nothing in the realm of I am abandoning this class

He is using totems. But he is also using a 2h which is what he has always done.

I read a while back that the basic premise was each spec was centered around a specific element, Resto was Water, Enhancement was Wind, but Elemental was fire.

Leaning into Fire for Elemental feels like the big the swing and miss though. Lightning always seemed to be the perfect fit. It just feels like swapping back and forth from elements and trying to weave a coherent rhythm its way more than it needs to be.

Hell just turn lava blast into a thunder burst and weave some cohesion between it, lightning bolt, and earthquake and we have three iconic shaman spells to be a very unique class.

Pull hurricane out of the druid vault and give it to enhancement to replace crash lightning. Make crash lightning a heavy hitter for elemental.

Cmon boys lets ride the lightning to prominence!!

Bus shock on the forums killed shaman. We have been nerfed and meh ever since. Sure we have moments that aren’t bad but we have not need “good” since then.

The return of Thrall is nearly upon us. Shamans, our time to lift this world up from its darkness is soon to come by fighting against the War Within.

I am so sure we will get all the visual updates needed for shamans come the next expansion and more exciting abilities! What is on your wishlist for Shamans?

Yo dudes what kind of Hero specs are we gonna get for Shaman? Someone said far Seer? Tidesage? I have no clue. Elementalist?

Only one I remember them saying was Farseer.

The Hero talents specs were announced today and will be:
Stormbringer
Farseer
Totemic

These are subject to change between now and launch, but they’re kinda vague aside from Stormbringer. Assuming Totemic would be buffing totems but “Farseer” could be anything?

I suspect it’s going to focus on spirits and be quite “orc-y/tauren-y,” maybe it will also highlight earth and fire more

Even if Thrall played a larger role in this it won’t be as a shaman. It’d be as a warrior.

I half expect him to convert to being a paladin given the Midnight expansion is us all joining hands and embracing the bloody light regardless of what we might otherwise desire. The religion pushing in this game is nearly as bad as Dragon Age Inquisition… that game at least let me argue against being seen that way.

It’s sad because this was a great xpac to announce shaman for all and a major rework that we need. But sadly we are blizz’s most hated class.

I’ll be taking a break if 10.2.5 doesn’t include shaman unlock.

I hard main Shaman and while I love the class I also love Blood Elves and I’m tired of only pretending to be a Blood Elf Shaman.

The devs did a Q&A and they said no rework or class race combo being expanded.
