What were they thinking with these buffs? They turned them into absolute monsters. I played horde in classic and horde was always better in PVP and it’s been a struggle switching to Alliance with friends and being a big PVP fan, but now it feels like even more of a joke. A team that has 3+ shamans now just wipes the floor with everyone.
Ele? Spam chain lightning and melt everyone, grounding totems + decoy totems make it so casters are pretty useless against them. Enh? If one even gets close to you they can basically instantly melt you for 2k health. Plus all of them are running around with 30% more health and 10% reduced damage / 6% crit reduction while being able to heal themselves. Paladins are a complete joke compared to Shamans right now and the imbalance has shifted massively.
Think I’m just going to stick to other games until this is addressed, it seems they can’t get classes right at all in SOD, they see something is broken then they nerf that and make something else broken constantly. Are they even playing the game?

One shaman being bad isn’t my problem, if you don’t play AB and do it or see it then you’re irrelevant to me.
Chain lightning isn’t spammable. Therefore you’re uninformed. Which means you’ve done zero research. Either you’re just doing uninformed crying or your trolling.

Where? In Stv this is about half your health. If you’re poorly geared. In WSG AB fully buffed this is about 33% of your health.

Amazing how alliance had no problems with balance in p1 as paladins ran over everyone and shamans were completely worthless.
Told us to “get good” or “deal with it” and to “stop complaining”

Good. It’s about time shamans were better than pallies in classic. Maybe that will help the one sided ally favored imbalance on almost every server.

Shaman are absolutely insane.
Comparing p1 paladins to p2 shaman isn’t even in the same ball park.
Shamans are running through EVERYONE while being extremely stout.

The Shaman burst and tankiness in game has been there since P2 started. (Arguably before that with twin RB and WotE)
Didn’t help us get into WSG premades at all…
Class without an ounce of CC has a lot of burst and is hard to kill.

Yes, that is mincing words. To you, spamming = instant cast you can do over and over again. To me, sitting there hitting chain lightning over and over again is spamming. Just because you have a different definition to it than me doesn’t make me a troll. I see the group fights where they just sit back casting it over and over again.
Roots and slows dont count as CC?

Everyone knows if you use an ability right on cd that is another appropriate way to use the term “spam”. Any mindless usage of an ability is colloquially called spam. stop being cringe.
Isn’t there a 6 second CD?
Paladins were decent in PvP…but they surely weren’t an outlier in Phase 1. I’d say Hunters, Rogues, Priests were the outliers…right now Shaman is absolutely an outlier, along with Spriest, Mut Rogue etc.

And no, Slows don’t mean your chracter can’t fight back or react…

Every class has a slow.
Every class but one has a CC.
