I mean I’ve heard this before but geez.
I don’t understand it either. People were saying that shaman were in a good spot, and a couple of people in my guild re-rolled to shaman for SL. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

It might be because resto sham is clearly ahead of all the other healers, by about 15% on average from the raid logs. That’s just a guess though…

Shaman can never be ahead, regardless of spec they’ll be nerfed… finally Resto topping metres, not on Blizzards watch!

Sorry everyone. I blame myself. I got excited leveling my battle pet / pet token bank toon who is a resto shaman… and… well… I accidentally had fun. This was the only possible outcome for Blizzard. I’m terrible sorry!

because their healing is way ahead of every1 else
“rogues” didn’t get buffed
assassination, the rogue spec that does 1/3rd the dmg of other classes at equal gear got a miniscule buff that is just a start to get them to even be playable in any content (you cant even clear most floors of torghast overgearing them on assasination)
in all honesty even if they gave assassination 40% more dmg across the board they would still be behind in dmg, it really is that bad for them

Shamans have insane amount of utiliy. Most thrughput + most utility is simply too much. Why use other healers?

“Viable” is understating it a bit dude. If this didn’t happen the world first race would literally just be only shamans healing because why bother taking any other healers.
