I don’t think any other class has to waste a talent point just to get access to new weapons?
Can we finally fix it so Shamans get the Two-Handed Axes and Maces Talent at level 20? TY. It’ll be really important if 2-H enhancement becomes a spec in phase 2.
Also plz give shamans access to 1-H and 2-H Swords as well, Thanks.
I agree this was a dumb decision back then, but this is how it was. It can’t be changed.
Not this though. No single caster having access to every weapon type in the game was an intentional design choice. You’re asking for them to not be the exception to the rule on one hand, and then asking them to be the exception for another rule on the other.
2H Enhancement implies that you have your talent points in Enhancement, which means the fact that this is a talent is a non-issue. The talent is in the Enhancement tree. You are putting points in Enhancement. Just take the talent. The tree is designed with you taking that talent in mind.
It could be an issue for Elemental/Resto builds that want to use two-handers… but Shamans can use staves. Simply use a staff if you want a two-hander as Elemental or Resto.
Everytime i complain about how bad shamans are i get shaman white knights scooping in saying its fine. Compared to paladin they are cerainly NOT fine. Pallys start with 2h and mail and a kit way better than ours. But… shamans are fine right? People are so dumb.
Actually with the addition of the dual wielding rune, it makes no sense for us to have to choose between shield mastery talents, a 2-H talent, or an easily swappable rune.
You pretty much have to choose the way you want to play and stick by it. Which seems to me, to go against the spirit of SoD.
If thunderfury dosen’t have a use to make it a hammer in SoD, shaman tank will be the only tank that can’t use TF. I expect it to happen over giving shams sword skill. Or just make thunderfury no weapon type since it’s made out of air and any competent trained fighter would be able to easily weild it.
Do staffs do the same amount of damage as axe or mace?
If say the damage listed is the same and attack speed too. I notice a lot of staffs have high dmg but slow swing time. But i never trust myself to use staffs to melee with why
Which brings me back to my very first post in this thread:
FYI staves are bad. You need a shield to survive a Warrior/Rogue. But the option to use a staff is there if you really want to put windfury on something and slap it.
