Good healers don’t heal for 10 seconds?

Because they were dead, the so called “tank” couldn’t hold aggro of the mobs he pulled.
Then don’t do it?
If others want to try it out why do you have to hate on them for it?
Can’t heal while taking damage from mobs that your shaman tank was supposed to be tanking.

Oh because we all soloed tank SWP.
Because we all solo tanked SWP.
I did as Blood DK.
I did as Prot War.
I did as Prot Pally.
And I soloed the instance with my shaman p5.

Perhaps you can solo level 40 instances as shaman. That is the level of shaman tanking as well.

On no no no sir. I encourage it. If you want to tank as a shaman, and find 4 people to go along with it… please do. I still think it’s a horrible idea, but I’m not stopping you in any way.
Shadow priests are fully capable of tanking using dispersion with assists from rogues and hunters… but again, horrible idea. Record that and get back to me.

Thankfully we are all able to make our own decisions.
I would love to see some other class take on the tanking role besides Shaman. Adds some flavor to an already solved game.
This game is nearly 20 years old. Tanking should be nothing more than a tank buff and gear choices at this point. Then we wouldn’t be in the forums arguing day and night.

I don’t get people who want to shaman tank, I’d never do a dungeon with one let alone a raid just doesn’t seem to be a good idea. Even now it’s just a bad idea, why would I and 23 other people subject themselves to a subpar tank that throttles the DPS of the other raiders?
They’ll always be a subpar tank, a Shaman in their BiS “tank gear” is always going to be a subpar tank. Now I understand that there’s some people who want to do it the “hard way” and that’s fine, I was just stating my opinon.
Demo warlocks received even the taunt ability while in metamorphisis.
They are more tankier than shamans.
