If âdo the jobâ you mean âtankâ raid content 3 content patches old with 3 healers ooming themselves for the meme then sure? I still havenât seen any shaman main tanking T5 or T6 content. Heck I doubt they can tank ZA. What job are they doing exactly? Tanking attumen with 3 healers? lmfao

Again, no one said they did a great job. I donât know why you consider that a standard. Mediocrity is still successful in someway. (This is typically when I point out peoples parses to highlight the fact that just because you werenât 100% efficient doesnât mean you still werenât successful)
If your definition of success is âI got overhealed by 3 healers and high rolled all the RNG needed to survive an encounter that I cannot guarantee survival on like other tanks canâ then I guess you do you dude. Just pointing out that this is a meme

Iâve put it in here a few times but pretty much anyone who reduces damage taken by other members is a tank, typically by holding aggro on the mobs. Itâs from a Blizzard guide.
Tank is a broad definition.

This is a triggering thing for him and others regarding this subject. They minimize the definition of âTankingâ down to anyone that even remotely has aggro for any length of time and doesnât immediately die.
To them, kiting Frost Mages are âTankingâ all those mobs they gather up.

alright dude, healers are tanks too because they reduce relative damage on the raid since they keep everyoneâs HP topped. A ret with devo aura up is tanking because of the armor buff. Priest is tanking because the fort buff is up on everyone else thus giving everyone more HP to not die. If thatâs what you genuinely believe then thereâs nothing more to be said lmao
