Grats. Our Paladin has been starved for gear this tier.
I mean RNG is a fickle mistress.
There are way too many items that we havenât seen ever, and weâve cleared it all every week since week 2 (casual dad guild).
The pain of knowing there are 5 people looking for the same damn drop, that never dropsâŚ
RNG can DIAF this tier for me personally.
Our Paladin would agree. On the other hand, we just had another Skull drop⌠yet the casters still complain that there isnât a staff yet.
Yes, because solo Tanking Illidan means wearing FR gear to handle both Flames of Azzinoth at the same time.

My raid runs three different Tanks and theyâre all maxed out. Iâm waiting on side-grades for random purpose sets or for DPS stuff to drop for my Cat set. The Warrior and Paladin are done with their set, now only seeking out either super beefy off-set items in case theyâre needed for Brutallus or getting in line behind DPS for threat items theyâd like but donât need.
Iâm one token away from creating a separate 5/5 T6 set for another spec, and our raid loot luck has been rather atrocious.

Just because youâre getting good gear drops doesnât mean everyone is. Try to look beyond your own bubble and you can see that not all loot is dropped equally.
We also have 3 raid groups. Still no staff, no tempest chaos, no bulwark, and no glaives yet in any of them.
We have had almost a dozen trash mace drops from Hyjal though which is crazy.

Any raid willing to do this can likely already do it since the gearset used isnât exactly rare given how much non-raiding gear it actually is. Thatâs the point. Thereâs no further growth to achieve by another 2-months of clearing for most Paladins concerning this particular setup.
And it is still risky given P2 with sub-FR cap, and I sincerely doubt Warriors are going to try the same or be able to accomplish it, so this is limited to just Paladins using gear they mostly have if they ever bothered to gather badges or do PvP.
Ah yes⌠the delusion is on everyone else doubting the heart and will of a Shaman trying to Tank one of the nastier mobs in the current tier while being utterly unable to handle the trivial bossesâŚ

Do we even know if it was world first? We tried this a couple weeks ago and one of the Flames was around 10% before our tank died. Once one Flame dies, itâll be a cakewalk. We only gave it four tries too.

I was a rank 1 player in different categories in Diablo III. Itâs really not all that exciting to be number 1 at a video game.

Number of SSC/TK Drops: 3
Number of guaranteed items: 6
Of the BT/Hyjal drops used the only truly hard to replace item is the helm off Illidan. Tier is common. The Tank trinket is replaceable with a PvP trinket. The sword is a mere 2 Stamina difference from the T5 sword. The shield isnât even an ideal defensive shield so literally any non-SP shield works. PvP bracers work just as well as the dropped bracers.
