But like…why? Why would I want a shamy tank when I can have a real tank?
People have been playing with the idea of shaman tanks for a long time now, and while certainly there is some sort of base for it, you’re not equipped with the right toolkit.
Just because you can take a few hits, doesn’t mean you should. Meanwhile, every real tank class/spec can take 10 hits without dying.
Nor would you be able to reach def cap.
No taunt.
No personal CD’s.
No passive mitigation.
No threat boosts. Because every “shamy tank” requests a dozen MDs/Tricks to hold threat.

Thank you for your opinion. But I will continue to look for a guild for one of my Shaman Tanks who recently dinged and is guildless.
Seeing as how I actually play a shaman tank, I feel confident enough to speak on the matter…
