Nah its Enhance that are doing the heals that are better than the resto and the holy paladins.
Also to your comment about paladins having great Burst, I agree all the burst needs to be toned down but the math is more in favor of the shamans.

Edit: to the above poster, Instant self healing is strong. Instant self healing that can happen every few seconds is busted. And Instant self healing not on an Instant Coefficient spell power multiplier but on a casted 1.5 or longer modifier is very busted.
You have a totem to get you out of CC, A totem to shut down the 3 minute mage, A totem to get rogue poisons off, A totem for mana. A totem to snare a pack.
Individually none of these are that strong. But when you can instantly slap down 4 where ever you want them then thats busted as melee has to tab around to kill them all and nobody using a 2hnd does that. And I think a rogue would lose combot points doing that as well. A fury warrior aint bringing down no insta cast lava burst ele mastery earthshock shaman in tank runes, prob not even in a 2v1.
Paladins have to get in range to do their burst damage and it relies on SoC+Crit+Exorcism which can happen but most paladins are south of 20% crit right now and SoC is 6-7 PPM rn so if your using Thermaâs Rocket Cleaver, then your getting 18/19 swings in per minute with that timer, which is 30-35% proc chance.
So a crit on both SoC and Melee is 0.2x0.2= 0.04% chance per swing. Im at 400 damage top end with my full str gear and raid buffs on the rocket cleaver, so two crits (one is white so mitigated) 400x2=800 assuming 35% damage reduction from shield shaman + mail armor, add in 10% for way of earth rune, (which also reduces chance to be crit by 6% so the paladins crit chance for this wombo combo is actually lower than 0.04) for a 45% reduction in damage.
800-360(45%) = 440 + Seal of command damage which is 70% of weapon damage and that being a crit in this case brings us to 800-240=560 but there is an additional 10% reduction from way of earth. Bringing it to 560-56=514
So 514+440= 954+300 damage from the exorcism (not a gauranteed crit) brings us to 1.2k or 1.3k if we get really lucky on a top end raiderâs dps set.
But the thing here is unless the paladin is getting a blind jump and the sham was afk or the paladin jumped a small cliff to take no damage and get on the shaman, the shaman will see him coming, have dropped his earthbind totem at the paladin who might still be many yards out of melee range. Drop a flame shock and a lava burst for the same damage.
Except the lava burst damage is gauranteed and doesnt require a raiderâs dps gear(which might be glassy) and a 0.04% chance to get a Seal of command proc and double crit. Which now that I think about could be even lower than 0.04% since you need a 30-35% chance to get the command to proc in the first place using the epic gnomer axe.
But weâll take the command proc as a given
Also âEle was easy to shut down against people with more than three braincellsâ, unless your talking about a rogue, your talking about people, not person, people, so it took multiple people 2-3+ to shut down a single player.
That is balanced. That is tactics
